Strikes being 'telegraphed' or having preceeding movement that might signal their delivery, and therefore rendering them easily defended and countered, is often a strongly avoided state - in reality, not only is this issue mostly redundant in actual application, trying to achieve 'non-telegraphic' status is actually detrimental to effective striking.

exactly. it's not about "oh he knows whats coming" it's about no wasted motion. loading up is not wasted. its necessary for power. and if your shots are power shots your opponent starts reacting with defense (his body or mind say: i don't wanna be hit by THAT) instead of attacking or countering.

Add a edged weapon and know that loaded movement is much scarier, especially if Mike has it.

What if someone tall keeps his distance in a fight ? How to close in in reality? Because you know defensevness is rare and the only defense is a berserk strategic offense and kicking is disastrous sometimes (ofcourse depending on the user)

Someone tall keeps distance in a fight, on the street i assume? Make a step back. If he does'nt follow you, you would'nt have a fight in the first place, wich is the sensible thing to do. If he follows you, you step forward and be in your range then...

Yes or barge in with a flurry of hooks and overwhelm him and his reflexes while keeping heavy damage without overcomitting to the punch in case of a miss
