I remember that A year ago, on my senior year, I started to practice bass, then my teacher asked me to be the bassist on the Christmas concert, we played this song. I felt special since there were different drummers, singers, and guitarists, but I WAS the only one playing the bass. I remember looking for this video because since I just started to play, I really didn’t know how to do this song, I practiced hard and felt really happy and proud of myself. But it was all because of your video, which helped me a lot. Thank you so much, that night is one of the best memories I have from school, foreal thank you so much.

2:55 the thing I love about this is that the Rock section is in Eb Major, but the operatic section is in A major. To change the key without the music sounding awkward, it’s at this part when the bassline slowly goes down each note from Eb down to A. Really cool thing, if you ask me.

@FeO2 FeS Deacon is easily one of the most technically skilled bassists ever. Ever hear The Millionaire Waltz? Amazing bassline, he even uses artificial harmonics in there too. Or his bass work on Dead On Time, even the runs he does at the end of Im Going Slightly Mad. He’s easily the most overlooked bassist in rock history.

@@notabird8003Bass is easier in the beginning of the learning process since chords are not very common and almost never use all of the strings, but the difficulty of bass in fast passages is unmatched compared to any instrument I've played.

John deacon is the beginning, middle and end of the quintessentially classic bassist....plus queen is the last band bar a few (only a couple come to mind) from the 1990s onwards that are original and have put their heart and soul into songwriting and performing... god need more original songwriters and performers..

Party on dude, also someday can we see a cover of Metallica's The Four Horsemen or another one of their earlier songs, or maybe even something like Epic by Faith No More? Awesome job, this is one of my absolute favourite Queen songs and it's undoubtedly one of the greatest songs of all time
