Back to the knife vids... GREAT! I have the 13 and the edge was a bit funky but nothing a ceramic rod couldn't fix. This line of Schrades are outstanding! Pretty cool looking to. Thanks David.

Once again you knocked it outta the park! U hit every point & even explained things like drop point & full tang. Not assuming everyone knows encourages newbies & shows you're not just here for the knife geeks. Then you put the cherry on top with a rapid fire display of other knives to consider leaving us on a high note. GR8 showmanship & GR8 production value. You're ready 4 your own cable show! ;-) Look out B.G.

I purchased this awesome knife and was surprised to see that even though it is stainless it still produces a spark on a fire. It takes a lot of effort to produce a usable spark, but it is still weird that it can

Some other good options about that size are the Ka-Bar Becker BK11/14/24 and the ontario Rat 3. The Boker Plus mosier trigonaut is one of my favorites but is more of a tactical/defensive knife. Still handles EDC utility tasks just fine though.

I just got the SCHF13. I really wanted to like it but the sheath retention is very poor and the knife is way too heavy, so I will be sending it back.

I prefer a drop point on my knife. That's what makes winning that Fremont Draper folding knife so awesome. I have used a lot of knives and I finally got me a BK2 and I am finally satisfied with a fixed blade survival knife. Right now my EDC is a Leatherman Wave. I see people all the time putting other knives down because it isn't what they have. I don't put any knife down unless it's absolute garbage. If the knife suits you needs, it's a good knife. We all have our own preferences when it comes to knives. This knife looks to be a pretty decent knife, but I like a full 90 degrees on the back of the blade to go all the way to the point. But that's just me, I'm sure this knife is pretty reliable and that's all that matters.
@UltimateSurvivalTips11 жыл бұрын
Very wise council Bootsy! Funny... the Leatherman Wave is one of my EDC tools! Great choice!
@kcolmore111 жыл бұрын
It's a great tool in every way. Everything I have and use has been tested by me. My gear has to go through a process of being used and I am constantly trying to find flaws in order to have the best stuff. I found the best way to get the best of anything is to always look for failure points. Once you cant find anymore flaws you have found the best option. That goes for anything. Especially a plan.

@futuresonex11 жыл бұрын
It is a nice looking knife with an attractive finish. I'll give it that. Personally I prefer high carbon steel for an outdoor knife, but for the price I could live with 8Cr13 Chinese grade stainless. If I'm not mistaken it's the best grade of stainless available from China at the moment, and works pretty well.

What alloy of stainless steel is the knife ? ??? Thats really kind of important. I am very, very, sure that almost every knife company calls these a plain edge but "fine edge" sounds better for marketing I suppose. Very,very polished video and camera work and extremely well rehearsed scripted review though!
