Same. It’s been the one good consistent thing this year. Also, in terms of making better players: yeah. I built an Abzan Gyruda pile and have been collecting the names of the best decks in the format that I’ve been beating. Rogues, Mono-Red, Azorius Yorion, Gruul Adventures, Temur Ultimatum... All because I’ve watched these videos and learned how to beat them.

45:10 Think you miscounted your mana here. You could have played the Henge and the Terror. You have 7 mana, and Henge costs 4. Henge leaves you with 3 untapped lands, and gives you 2 mana on its own, meaning you have 5 mana after you play it, which is enough to play Terror.

I saw that too, trying to figure out what I was missing. I think it was just a mental hiccup because Yarsharn's 4/4 made Henge cost 5, and he didn't mentally reset that cost when the first Terror came down 5/4, reducing the Henge cost by 1.....it happens to the best

@@keenanevans7888 No, he said "We're a mana short". Playing Henge + Terror would have used up all the mana, so he would then need 2 additional mana in order to use Giant Killer. He chose to hold up Giant Killer after he (mistakenly) thought that he couldn't play both Henge & Terror. But it's clear in context that he would have tapped out to play Henge & Terror if he knew that he could have.

I am at the intro, but I must say, I miss Ashaya here. That thing might give more here than Vivien, considering everythting is land, thus mana, thus landfall, thus protection from many non-land removal cards. Just my two cents. Great deck. Truly deserves the 200 iq label 😭 dropping the edgewall and adventure side, you could replace those cards with land fetches like Omen of the Hunt and other nifty enchants/ETB creatures so you get more value on the Sky Noodle.
