The space Plains is a planetary ring system, which is in my mind a very clever way to represent a flat expanse at a scale when gravity molds just about everything into a sphere. Also, Un-lands are always amazing and I will die on this hill.

4 Titans is a must best reanimation and copy target next to Warden in standard

@@chanie8806 Agreed, I usually run 2 Titans just to avoid drawing them early but Kiki copying Titan or Warden is game.

I think in game 3 the 1/1 from the channel land could have blocked the stormseeker since it gave the trample and bonus to the chick. So another 3 damage could have been avoided to get around the exactly 0 life two turns later.
@drt45272 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was thinking the same. I think CGB assumed Slasher has trample on the base creature as well.
@andfriends112 жыл бұрын
I saw that as well. I came to see if someone commented it already.

I'm trying out a variation of the Grixis deck that won the Worlds Standard (with my own twist, using the card "Founding the third Path" as access to more Invokes and/or spot removal). I just got paired against this Jund pile (that I've myself played and quite like it), but it had no chance against the Grixis pile. I can see why it won the worlds, it generates so much value and has so much available removal that opponents simply can't keep up.
@exile_the_13th2 жыл бұрын
I know CGB hates people in the comments who talk about "misplays", but.... Chumping the Storm-Charged Slasher at 16:22 would have maybe won the game.
@ChaosForce082 жыл бұрын
Yeah, saving 3 damage vs dealing 1 with the Spirit seems correct when Soul 3x is still lethal
@daveztop54512 жыл бұрын
CGB I think it be cool if you built these bo3 decks into bo1 decks using their sideboard. Make for some interesting intro content whilst giving you some advantage in your games with them. Either way love the videos

Jund to me doesn't feel like a true Jund unless your deck is built around cascade. I remember back then Jund would wreck with Blightning, Bloodbraid Elf, Sprouting Thrinax, Maelstrom Pulse, Putrid Leech and Obstinate Baloth.
