Gina Go Blue. Great job. Lots of plot holes in this story. But how else is Wizards going to get that many characters into Duskmourn.

Imagine if a pack of werewolves from innistrad ended up in duskmourne. Pretty much any innistrad beast would probably feel well at home on this plane.

Not exactly the story. Valgavoth is still trapped in the house, he just made the house bigger. It expanded through the plane and with consumed every thing, it now only the house.

I must be REALLY behind on MTG lore...how are NON Planeswalkers able to travel between planes???

They used the mysterious doors that Valgavoth created, linking different planes and Duskmourn. They also used the omenpaths. Omenpaths are planar portals originally created by Kaldheim's World Tree and later by New Phyrexia's Invasion Tree. After New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse and the Desparkening, these passages are now the main way to travel between planes.

In the old books, the Phyrexians were able to use power stones to construct portals between planes. It's always *kinda* been a thing, it's just usually restricted.
