These mono-green commanders are always interesting to me because mono-green as a whole seems much more powered down in Historic Brawl than in does in Commander. Although this round seems like some tedious commanders to pilot.

Green has so many more busted cards in commander than it does on arena. In addition brawl is a 1v1 format so cards that go 1 for 1 like counterspell and duress are a lot better.

Glorfindel is probabily the most powerfull elf in melee combat on the middle earth during the third war. First time he died, he did fighting a balrog. He is gandalf/sauron level of melee skill. He's in the book, but not in the movies. In the book he saves frodo when they are running from the nazguls in front of rivendell. In the movie the substituted him with arwen for resonable simplification reasons. There is also a joke in the book when Elrond says that "even if I send glorfindel with you gandalf you wouldnt be able to take the black gate by force. Implying that he would have give a fight, fighting an army of orcs alone

Watching you misplay with Elves was, to borrow a term from the amazing and aptly named psychic detective show Psych, physphysically painful! XD I kept going: "No, no, no! Don't do that!
