I really can relate to her because after being previously healthy, I took one shot of Moderna I had so many symptoms and health issues that I couldn't possibly list them all. After my Astrazenica in Australia, i had numbness, tingling in both hands and feet. Not long after tinnitus started, brain fog, dizziness as well as palpitations. After 6 months started getting sharp pains in my feet and lesser in my hands. Like lightning going through my feet. Like being stabbed by a knife...what has helped is NAC and antihistamines and anti-inflammatory medicine which calmed it down. Still ongoing nearly 2 years later. After my AZ in the UK I developed numbness, pins and needles and burning sensations in hands, feet and scalp. My GP said that it was not caused by the vaccine (despite the sudden onset several hours after I got the jab). I refused further jabs but my GP kept insisting that it was not the vaccine that had caused it! Am too still having issues 2 years later but doctors turn a deaf ear if I suggest that the vaccine had something to do with it. Various supplements have helped but if I forget to take them for a few days symptoms return.

I am crying watching this because I am 100% sure that my debilitating sciatica was caused by the vaccines. I, too, wanted to trust in the science. I am NOT an anti-vaxxer, I am double boosted and my children are all vaxxed. I had my first flare up of sciatica a day after my first shot. I didn't correlate the two. Flash forward a year later, I get my Omicron booster and within 24 hours my sciatica returned. It's been three months now and it's now so painful I can barely last a day at work.

I developed foot drop in my right foot after the 2nd shot. My legs felt heavy for months. My knees where in pain. I couldn't walk well and tripped every so often. I went to a physio, chiropractor and they told me its neurological and see a neurologist. Eventually I did and I'm doing a heap of tests now and scans

Omg, I’ve been dealing with same symptoms for two years trying to figure out what’s going on and I only had one shot of vaccine. It started with shortness of breath at first, then my legs started to hurt. Pins and needles in feet and numbness pains in my lower legs. Before the shot I didn’t have any problems breathing or walking. We were in Florida for the two months before my shot and I would get up with no pains and go for my walks every morning. We came back home and everyone was getting jabbed and so did I (didn’t want to be singled out) but two weeks after that shot I started having this strange shortness of breath so I skipped the second shot and instead went to see a pulmonologist. They checked me out and everything came back normal except that my breathing wasn’t, so they blamed it on anxiety. To this day I’m still dealing with, some days better than others. My legs on the other hand are not getting any better. This neuropathy if that’s what it is, is driving me crazy. I never went to see a doctor because I thought that maybe I needed exercise more for my legs to get better. The worse pain is when I wake up or stand up from sitting position. I found that doing stretches and my elliptical help the most, so that’s what I’ve been doing. So, that said I guess I’ll be making an appointment with podiatrist or foot doctor soon. Same here. The right foot symptoms started about a week or so after second shot and lasted around three months then completely went away. Initially it seemed like plantar fascitis as it was heel pain making it hard to walk. A few months later the left foot developed same pain but not as extreme but I'm still struggling with it years on. The pain has evolved to sometimes feel like it goes up my ankle. Its not as extreme pain as the initial right foot pain thoigh and waxes and wans. I was pretty active and in good shape and there no question in my mind it's not something just in my mind.

Don't assume its caused from the back if in your legs and down into your feet. Most doctors are poorly trained to evaluate and treat the peripheral nervous system in the lower extremity. Why?? Partly because it cant' be monetized by outside interest , Big Pharma, who wants you and doctors to buy into to the idea that there is no solution and you must be medicated. I've had tingling in the bottom of my feet and toes since the vaccine almost 2 years ago. My hands fall asleep at night too. It is so frustrating to have to keep shaking them out. The tingling goes away but comes back. It's improved some especially with suppliments and exercise but it has definitely altered my life and doctors don't want to hear any possible link to the vaccine. Why not?? This was not some widely lengthy test period where all the possible side effects are known. So frustrated.

@OlgaHolger I'm so sorry! I think we have some sort of nerve damage/ neuropathy, and we are definitely not alone. I think the doctors know about the issue, but they are unable to acknowledge it. ​​​@@OlgaHolgerI did have a reaction but it was a strange one, I had abnormal spotting for 9 days. One doctor dismissed and the other acknowledged by saying the vaccines cause inflammation. Come to find out many women experienced this same reaction. I had j and j so had one injection. I also remember my ears feeling strange and being incredibly sensitive to sound. Long story short the tingling in my toes started a short time after that. I'm mad at myself too for going against my better judgment for a stupid job. My body has calmed some but for a good year and half I reacted to all kinds of things that I would not normally react to. Skin reactions and had a reaction to a tetanus vaccine very similar to what you described with the covid vaccine. I never reacted before to any vaccine including that one. Don't be too hard on yourself, what's done is done we can only move forward. I Will say though, intermittent fasting, cutting out gluten and processed foods, B vitamins, alpha lipoic acid, vit D and exercise has helped. People with various nerve issues do this routine and it does help. Research and find what helps you, I wish I could just go to a doctorand get a clear answer and help but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon.

I had my first vaccine in 2021 5 days later in A&E with headache from hell had to have ct scan to rule out blood clots. Then the week after I started getting numb feet which them started slowly moving up my body till my whole body was effected. Numbness and tingling and I wierd vibration going through my body. It took 4 months to go then stupidly got talked into having a second one and was told by a doctor I would probably not get any side effects with 2nd one 😒 3 days after second symptoms started to come back and even though it wasn't as bad as 1st vaccine this time it has never completely gone . I get numbness tingling and weakness in legs and I get twitching in face on one side and my back has never been the same . I certainly will never have anymore vaccines

Jesus. This sounds like me now. Tingling started in legs and hands then fatigue. Now twitching muscles and constant stiff back and a vibration like sensation when i wake from sleep. I was always at the gym or active. I haven't been back in almost a year. Ive hounded the doctors for several months and only now are they sending me to a Neurologist to do more tests. I never wanted vaxed as i thought why take something i dont need. But i seen the way the media shamed people into taking it (that didn't need it) so my family got on my back to take it incase i spread it. So i got the double shots. Small fiber neuropathy is a common term used in the neurology community . As a peripheral nerve surgeon many have neuropathy caused by nerve compression in tight tunnels . This is referred to as large fiber disease . Some patients may have both . Large fiber disease affords the opportunity for reversal of the symptoms by performing nerve decompression surgery.

Doctor, did Kim have nerve studies by neurologist before she was under your care? I believe the vaccine caused my fairly rapid onset neuropathy and when I had nerve studies, they said it was from my metabolism, but I have never had diabetes or been close to it.

Yes I believe she did. However no help was offered except for medication. Her family doctor was aware of my training in peripheral nerve surgery and referred Kim to me. I would like to add that as a peripheral nerve surgeon we don't put a lot of value in nerve conduction and EMG studies as the results can vary widely. We believe and studies back up that many of these studies have false negative results. Meaning the test says everything is normal but from our examination we know this is not the case.

I'm not a upper extremity nerve specialist. Best to see a doctor well trained in upper extremity nerve surgery. If it seems to be date coincident to the vaccine then very well may be. As time goes on the latest information supports that nerve damage may be the most common adverse effect of the vaccine.

i got the prevnar 20 vaccine in dec, 2023, i was feeling pain off and on near the injection site. about a month ago, i went to a neurologist and she said i had mild neuropathy. The pain in my arm is still there and some pins and needles throughout my body. Do you think surgery from the injection area from where the pain occurs will help or theres nothing that can be done

It sounds like the pain may be more from injury from the needle. I would suggest you get the opinion of a plastic surgeon or orthopedic surgeon who specializes in nerve surgeries.

My jaw was broken over thirty years ago and as a consequence I experienced nerve damage. Since then my lower lip has been somewhat numb. Recently I tested positive for COVID and now I have a stabbing pain throughout my jaw and lower lip. Is there a likely correlation? Is the nerve somehow being activated by COVID?

Yes, it’s probably related. Covid can effect the nerves. Both covid and the vaccine aren’t good for nerves. I’ve talked to people who have nerve damage just from covid who never had a vaccine, and also who have it from the vaccine and have never had covid. What a mess. I’m so sorry, and I hope you feel better!

I had that symptom too. Stabbing pains in jaw and teeth, very weird. I never had the jab or any damage to my jaw. Anther weird thing was such sore feet right at the beginning before I knew I had covid and inflammation of some skin tissue. It does the strangest things. Not like the flu at all. I was fine and recovered OK. Lasting thing I've noticed was it messed up my menstrual cycle more than it already was and sore hands and wrists that I didn't have before. I never had any of the breathing issues though or being out of breath or heart palpitations. I was on my mini trapoline day 4 and could do it without being out of breath.

Not sure . If your symptoms are mild its possible. Understand when symptoms are severe we do surgery to open up tight nerve tunnels and this reverses the symptom's. People with tight nerve tunnels have large fiber disease. Your speaking about small fiber disease that neurologist consider for many with neuropathy to be the issue. Therefore your placed on drugs as there no treating the cause. Conventional medicine places you on drugs when you have nerve symptoms in the lower extremity, however they will consider nerve decompression surgery when you have the same symptom's in the upper extremity?!

Not sure I can answer this as I'm not a shoulder specialist. I do know however that the more we learn about the adverse effects of the vaccine that it may cause various types of nerve damage. So if the symptoms are nerve type of symptoms it could be from the vaccine.
