Hi Josie, tbh I haven’t noticed a lot of ads, but wouldn’t have a problem if there was - I think people forget that this is your job and advertisement is part of it - and affords us the vlogs we have all been particularly enjoying throughout lockdown - people quickly forget the amount of time and effort... sorry moving on. I would actually like to see ‘nice’ but comfortable everyday outfits as I am still partly furloughed but with more things open to be dressed for. Have a nice evening 💕 x

@@annpeyton6148 I agree with you. I finished wearing out a lot of my practical clothes during lockdown while recovering from an accident. I feel that so many vloggers can do fashion content as well but that you have a unique opportunity with your property to create special content regarding the (magical) area where you live and your actual home. I just love seeing you LIVE in your home and taking care of your garden. I feel like I am watching a live documentary! I am another viewer that could be your Mom, so maybe that it is why I am partial to the daily vlogs with simple everyday content.

Your bonus room/dressing room transformation will be so amazing to see! I so look forward to that happening. Here's an idea that is a bit of a twist......show ONE piece that you are looking at to buy, and then show 5-10 items from your current wardrobe that coordinate. This way you are reusing current pieces but freshening up the look with one new item! I love ALL your content and the "whiney" people perhaps need a small glass of "wine".

I agree with you about the hauls, so a little idea is to make fashion videos about the clothes that you already have. For example different looks with one piece , explaining your thoughts behind some of the pieces you bought, comparing clothes you bought many years ago with pieces that are "newer", etc.

A capsule wardrobe video would be nice so we can see how to put together some cute outfits ♥️
@heidihaeni77834 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking more about the idea of you doing a seasonal capsule wardrobe video, and thought I would share a few ideas that I hope will be helpful. When we leave our twenties, we might not necessarily be looking to buy a bunch of new clothes because we already have too many. We might be needing help on styling and editing what we already have. I've watched a few capsule wardrobe videos from other KZbinrs, and noticed that they mostly just show us what's in their capsule wardrobe, and not how they put together the wardrobe. They don't share their decision-making process on why they have certain pieces in their wardrobe and how they can coordinate. They also didn't show what organizational items they used to assemble their capsule wardrobe. One idea would be that you could have sponsored closet organizational items like rails and different types of storage items that can be moved around a room without looking too messy. I hope this is helpful especially if other people are in this same situation.

Loving that fabric sample! It looks like it could be one of your “hero” fabrics! I love it when I find beautiful fabrics that can go in multiple rooms. It could be a punch of drama in your cream and gold bedroom. With the bits of pinks it could work in your pink bedroom. The teal tones might work in the attic bedroom. And depending on the sofa color, it could look great on that ocher chair in the cinema room! “Hero” fabrics make me happy because they can pull all the colors together in a room! And extra bonus is when you find a fabric that contains the numerous colors from several rooms! I always like switching things up so things feel fresh and new, when it’s really just rearranging a few accent pieces amongst different rooms, but gives each room a mini makeover and a whole new look and feel! Those flowers are gorgeous! You get sent more amazing florals than anyone! I can’t wait to see them in your pictures! Having fresh flowers in the home is one of my favorite things! They do require maintenance, but it’s so worth it to have that bit of luxury! GORGEOUS! As far as ads go, I say put in the maximum amount! You deserve so much more ad revenue from all your efforts we enjoy for free! It’s the least we can do as appreciative viewers! How hard is it to watch a few ads to help compensate for all your hard work? You have been non-stop and have been working your backside off making daily vlogs during a pandemic, during packing up your entire life (most of it more challenging because it was done in secret), moving house, getting settled in, and decorating your home while also establishing your garden! Doing all that you’ve done in the past several months is incredibly stressful in and of itself. But when you add in getting footage of everything you’re doing, makes your “real life tasks” take two or three times longer to get done because you’re getting “the shot”! I am happy to watch as many ads as you can put in! I’m not sure I understand the issue even with the cranky pants who don’t want to show their appreciation for your great content. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one with the “skip ads” button! Hello? So skip it if you don’t want to show your appreciation! How hard is that? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ I think some people just enjoy being nasty! Don’t give them another thought and just continue on with all the good, beautiful and positive things! 🥰🥰🥰 I think creating outfits from key pieces in your wardrobe is always a great choice when hauls aren’t what you’re feeling at the moment! Or taking 10 or 15 pieces from your wardrobe and see how many outfits you can create only using those pieces (not including shoes and accessories). Perhaps tips on dressing down your dressier items, now that you have more casual opportunities and occasions. Conversely, dressing up more casual pieces, creating comfort but with a little more style. Endless possibilities! ☺️😊

Absolutely . No hauls. I like basics, capsule, floaty summer dresses. Or how you style. Or summer shoes. LOL Pitch forks. Ive experienced that. Love the vids.

I'd like to see 'shop my wardrobe' type videos. Katie Snooks has recently made one and it was great to see her styling new outfits with clothes she already owns xx

I am happy you called out the jellyfish posters.(jp) I am so tired of their negativity. This is unnecessary, you put out vlogs nearly every day, you are so hard working, this is your job ( which you are very good at) and it would be unfair for people to want you to work without any remuneration. This is your livelihood. If the jp’s are calling out you out on ads, imagine the rage if they were asked to work without pay. 🤣 I love your honesty and kindness. Thank you for your hard work.

Love your vlogs. Your personality really comes through since you’ve moved and you’ve been doing more house vlogs. Country fashion would be a great one to watch but to be honest whatever you decide I will watch. You just look so content and happy xx

I just love you to pieces. You have a great way of addressing less than positive comments. You get your point across in a polite and positive way. Thank you Josie!

I love your content as its a bit of everything and that keeps my interest. I feel like we are evolving after the virus and thats changing the way people look at consumerism. I personally would like to see you work your existing wardrobe into the new country lifestyle. I'm very excited to see how the new wardrobes look in the dressing room!

I would like to see more of your “around the house” clothing options. I like your style outside of the gorgeous dresses and heels you share. The sweaters, leggings/casual pants, great jewelry to make the casual outfit feel leveled up are so inspirational. I work from home (even pre-Covid) so like inspiration on how to be comfortable but stylish. I do wear some dresses at home but struggle with the non-dress side. Thanks so much for all you post!!!

Not sure if anyone has suggested this fashion video idea, but you were discussing in a video earlier this week some changes you think will happen after lockdown. One change you mentioned is a switch to more casual clothing. Could you do a video about an even more casual work clothing vibe that will allow us to see what you envision? And how we can be more casual but still look pulled together for work? Right now, I feel like my combo is much too "work clothes from the waist up for Zoom meetings, and pajamas on the bottom." How to go back to the office and feel that comfortable but not look that disparate?

P.S. it doesn't have to be clothes you own or have to purchase just for the video. I realize your style is more feminine and stylish. Maybe show photos of casual pieces and discuss how it can be styled for work.

I would be interested in seeing a video with classy casual clothing for work. I was in a bad accident at the beginning of lockdown and I've been wearing out my basic casual clothes. Now I'm lost in a sea of dressy clothes I don't know how to style. I don't know if I should buy more clothes that are basic or try to style the dressy clothes I already own. Maybe I'll just be gutsy and put together unique looks using clothes I already own.

I would appreciate some autumn-winter trends (I know it's early) or what to buy now to wear later. I am not going back to the office until September so it's summer in joggers for me but plenty of retailers have great sales going on (Karen Millen has constant 40% off) so would like to shop with fall in mind but cannot decide...

I have to travel through the airport soon to see my Dad who's not well at all. He has multiple myeloma and it's essentially my last time to say goodbye as he's British living in london and I'm irish. I'm loving your escapism videos of "life in the cotswolds". "We need this positivity", WELL said, Josie. You are more "street smart" than me. I never travel as I had my boys young (21). Ok, My tale of woes, now over 😊. Could u give any advise on essential travel. Also some meditation to deal with the stress of the days we live in now ie. Meadow (snow) Angels😇. Thank you for your bright uplifting vlogs 💞

Libby Mapp Sending prayers for safe travel. If you are feeling anxious going through the airport here’s a little trick to help with the anxiety. Choose a colour and try and find 5 items that colour as soon as you start getting anxious. Remember nice deep breathes as well. Hope that helps. It doesn’t seem like much but it can help to distract. Stay safe.

The headspace app has helped me a great deal with falling asleep and meditating. When I get very anxious it has seriously helped.

Dear Josie... So sorry about nasty comments. So rude and uncalled for. You have so many followers who just love you n all your vlogs. Those flowers you rec'd were gorgeous. I love flowers. Always have them on my kitchen table. The makeup n skin care items you rec'd are incredible. Enjoy them. Can't wait to see your dressing room completed. You have gorgeous clothes . As far as what videos I would like to see. I think it would be great to go thru all your clothes piece by piece n just show them to us n how you have styled them. Just a thought. I understand that you are really involved with decorating n getting your palace in order. Looking forward as well to see The clothes you will be putting in Google. Precious doggies. You n Charlie stay safe n well. ❤️
