This is what we had to endure in Scotland with Sturgeon and it continues with her successor. The SNP government introduce laws to Scotland but never enforce them. So it came as no surprise that when Sturgeon imposed a travel ban she did nothing to enforce it. That would have been hard work for her and her pals. All Sturgeon was interested in was media coverage and headlines.

I’m utterly ashamed about how Scotland, and the other devolved administrations behaved. They said at the beginning it was not going to be political and only ‘about the science’. It couldn’t have turned more political if they tried. I’m not by any stretch absolving Westminster but it absolutely had to be a full on UK approach.
