I am retired in Thailand Brad, my blood pressure was high and my weight was up a little too high also and I didn’t eat right. My recommendation to you is lose some weight and eat healthy exercise a little more. I am healthy now with excellent blood pressure. We are both in this beautiful country of Thailand and can let go of the high stress and bad habits we developed in our home countries and it’s much easier when you have a beautiful and non-western Ta by your side. I want you to be around so I can watch one of your videos every six months. Take care.

Fellow Aussie here. So if going over there on a 1 year retirement visa for over 50s to meet a Thai woman you know and get married do you then apply for a family visa to stay, how does the process work or how did it work for you? There's a teacher in Bangkok I know and I've been tearing my hair out wanting to go spend some time together and see if marriage will be good with us, which we're both looking for but are both mature about it, being both middle aged and sensible but young enough to dream. But the whole covid thing hit right when I was about to leave to visit on a holiday visa and now it's a year later and at this point I'm prepared to leave my job, sell meagre possessions and just go there because honestly into my fifties now and I'm really starting to get worried about spending my life alone and she's expressed the same concerns, neither of us want to wilt on the vine. I have no family here, basically a loner, no ties but on the other hand it does make you vulnerable, being unemployed without planning for it for example can easily put me onto the street and has in the past (lost family young so youth hostels and all that to stop from sleeping in parks as a teen, so always been on my own really). I won't have anywhere to store my stuff so would sell it off clean. I would like to bring my computer loaded with flight sims I've collected, there's nothing questionable on the hard drives so I'm not sure what rules are about importing a computer but it can be inspected without trouble. I would like to ship over the car I've spent about 6 years building but I heard Thai government banned importing used cars a couple of years ago, maybe I can get it in as a classic, modified or race car since it's all those things but is registered and roadworthy here as a daily driver, it's an 80s AMG Mercedes replica (the little blue thing in my thumbnail). That's the biggest financial issue since I sunk well over 20 grand into its mechanicals including a race build of the original motor but I'd be lucky to get back 10 with its unremarkable body/interior if I sold it, maybe not even that much. Even adding the money for shipping it would be a net gain if it's allowed into the country compared to selling it here. On the covid thing you mentioned it does appear to have been the result of some American cofunding with the Wuhan Institute of virology under the auspices of Dr Fauci in gain of function research about SARS-CoV-1 to produce SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), which was then accidentally released into the area. There are publicised email documentations to suggest this directly. It appears however the specific gain of function was only associated with enhancing virulence and not lethality but this is in retrospect, at the beginning of the pandemic scare a high mortality rate seems to have been expected and thus the reasons for the panic by authorities the world over. In many cases this early stage panic led to overmedication and treatment strategies in some countries independent medical practitioners and researchers have suggested in fact resulted in excess mortality not experienced by those countries which took a measured approach (such as Germany compared to Belgium for example), there remains a lot of controversy among the medical profession on the inside and largely censored from public media, about which factors actually caused waves of covid attributed deaths. What is certain however is statistics in retrospect which show, for example throughout the US covid has an actual mortality rate of less than 0.13% for people on average, unvaccinated, where symptoms are treated as any regular illness such as the flu, to which for most healthy people it is very similar. The initial panic also resulted in widespread use of PCR based testing for covid infection which is a laboratory test unsuitable for use in physical medicine and entirely too sensitive to suggest either infection or illness, simply the trace presence of covid markers and the vast majority of those testing positive are asymptomatic, which in medical parlance means they have absolutely nothing wrong with them and present no disease nor illness related to a viral infection, nor does it suggest they are infectious to others. Furthermore physicians associated with covid treatment in hospitals such as in Germany have examined many autopsies of covid attributed deaths and found no significant viral load in diseased tissue, noting pre-existing medical conditions and cause of death inherently related to those but since PCR testing of deaths became policy, any positive result regardless of lacking viral load in diseased tissue causing death is still recorded as a covid death, again due to policy. So Germany for example does list numbers of covid deaths yet has no excess mortality compared to previous years, which is a prerequisite for substantiating a claim of a new viral pandemic and the traditional method used to track a pandemic moving across continents, but the greater medical infrastructure has pushed for PCR testing to be used instead and thus we have the disparities of recorded infections among people who aren't infected with any actual disease and recorded covid deaths and yet no excess mortality in places like Germany which disproves its nature as an actual disease pandemic but what some are calling a "PCR-testing pandemic", which further places into light the excess mortality in places like Belgium coinciding covid attributed deaths is in fact most likely due to panicked treatment and lockdown policies, whilst in all cases a significant portion of covid attributed deaths would necessarily be in fact caused by pre-existing conditions also present among the majority of those patients, including age and obesity related illnesses in the case of the US. Now Covid-19 is a real thing, this isn't a conspiracy theory, it is apparently very virulent as a result of artificial construction in gain of function research, but it is not particularly lethal unless you have some generalised vulnerability to viral infections, which many people do. It is almost harmless to healthy children and youths, flu-like for regular healthy adults and dangerous to patients of another condition making them vulnerable to infections or those with a compromised immune system. It might rip through an impoverished environment like the plague, but barely give a gated community in the Hollywood Hills the sniffles. Like the flu it is apparently mutating through transmission and the one thing to keep in mind with all this is viral load. It could be all these panicked measures are in fact necessary in terms of allowing propagation to the point of building average viral load, which makes it increasingly lethal. However again in retrospect this is apparently not the case in Florida where upon cancelling all Covid restrictions before a significant majority of vaccinations due to all this additional information gathered over the course of the past year suggesting a lot more authoritarianism without merit than seems justified, it was shown both Covid infections and reports of any actual illnesses dropped dramatically in that state, which led health experts at the CDC and other places to suggest a herd immunity had been accomplished in Florida thus negating the Covid threat. But that doesn't mean such an approach would work somewhere like Asia and many other places, there are entirely different environments for a virus to act differently among. So most importantly I am not denigrating the Covid policies of Thailand, Australia or anywhere else and do believe political authorities want what's best for their countries. I would like to see more open discussion allowing independent and free scientific rigour into extended state of emergency policies which can be harmful to populations by and of themselves as I think this is a politician's responsibility and not to orchestrate the conclusions of advisors upon the payroll to suit policies restricting the freedom and liberties of peoples well beyond any reasonable measure if the objective conclusion differs greatly from the authoritarian explanations of questionable sources and possible agendas. But I think for the most part at worst what we have seen is a sincere response based upon faulty foundations, but a very good reason to start of thinking the worst when all this began, because behind closed doors they knew it all started basically as a bioweapons project...but not to develop a lethal virus, just a project to create a virulent one you can track to test in a lab and formulate action plans for an actual bioweapons attack or lethal pandemic, so let me be clear saying if Covid-19 is to be called an actual bioweapon it has to be the worst one ever made with a pathetic 0.13% mortality. Weaponised anthrax is 90% and that's the kind of figures for an actual bioweapon. So no it isn't a bioweapon, but evidence at this time does suggest it may have been a loosely related project.

Hi Brad and Ta,,glad you did it! Especially proud of Ta and the coworkers. Sometimes the misinformation campaigns by individuals and in this country, by an entire political are mind bogglingly ignorant and incompetent. You are totally correct in your take on the need for people to get vaccinated. There was good new today on the efficacy of several of the vaccines against the variants including the delta (Indian) variant. The sleepiness was the only side effect I experienced. Brad ,I too experience white coat syndrome and my BP goes up 30 points every time I see the doctor. It used to be worse when there was a woman I had a crush on was the receptionist,,it would rise 50 points then. We've tested it ,,and it's funny but very true. Continue to be safe guys,,Ttyl,,,Marlon

High Brad , great to see another video from you two. Regarding your high BP, generally hot temps cause your vessels to dilate which would lower your BP not raise it. Maybe follow up with a Dr. and monitor your BP to see if your high BP was a one off or new trend for you that can be treated with proper meds. Just my 2 cents.

The age limit in Australia is above 50 on AZ. But Western Australia just set it to 60 this week and now can have phizer if you want. Too many where hesitant so they changed the rules under public pressure in a way. I'm here at the moment and in my 50s so I'll be doing my phizer asap now. If I was in Thailand now I would be doing the AZ as you must weigh up the risks. So good your done your jab now though you have one more to do.

So glad your crowd loves the vaccine and you loved getting it. I'm glad our country is still pro choice, well not really pro choice by some apparently according to the medical majority, but it now seems most countrys done seem terrified of Covid anymore.

The whole topic of vaccines is like hot potatoes here in the UK, but Brad you talked about it with humor and fun, and also great to see the procedure in Bangkok, like most things being nice is the way to go, as far as what I think I'm really not sure my wife is Chinese she doubts anything the media put out, anyway great to see you and Tar in good health and enjoying these difficult times, good luck, look forward to whenever your next video is out cheers Joe

I think you are extremely fortunate to get the jab Brad. I know foreigners who work for BOI companies who were not allowed the vaccine due to the "Thais first" rhetoric.

It's good to see you guys online again. Great to see what you're up to. The vaccine has not been very popular in Australia. Not a big up take. I hope you're good after the jab. I'm not getting the vaccine yet. I wish I trusted the vaccine makers but I don't. Too early yet to know the long term effects. Not enough feedback yet. The virus did come from the lab. Sadly this was covered up. The truth always comes out though. Wishing you both health and happiness 🙏

Thanks Brad and Ta, Jane and I have both had our first Jab of the AZ vaccine. We have to have a second Jab of AZ in August. It’s free to everyone in Australia over 50. We only had very mild side effects. I really don’t know where it came from! There’s enough conspiracy theory’s going around without me adding to them! Great to see you both well and happy. Jane and Steve.

Blood pressure spikes can be dangerous. For some this only happens at certain times of the day but it can lead to kidney damage. Even brief spells above 160 that occur occasionally can Increase risk of stroke. I would suggest monitoring it by taking a reading at different times of the day. No idea where the virus is from. Got my vax last week but I dont think things will change soon.

Waiting like that will send your blood pressure up. So can other factors. Just a visit to the Dr does that to me and for my husband, its driving, even in a small city like Auckland in NZ. If its normally fine then I wouldnt worry. No blood pressure checks and NZ is only using the Pfizer vaccine. The AZ we had has been sent to some of the Pacific islands that

As to your question about the source of the covid virus: I'm in the wait and see camp. I don't really know enough to know if it came from a lab or from a market, but I think some of the people pushing the hypothesis that it came from a lab of some agenda and I'm not interested in their agenda.

Just got my 2nd jab on June 12th in 14 days i can get back to as near to normal as possible i guess lol. 1st jab a little stressful acct not knowing really what to expect, 2nd jab i took it like a pro and went to work operating my train later that day. In the end it is no worse than taking the yearly flu shot roll sleave up get stuck with a needle walk out ;-} Too date i haven't grown a 3rd eye or extra limbs lmao so i feel jipped after all the anti vaccine hype lmao. Good luck nothing to be afraid off, theres more things in life to worry about than the jabs.
