So with GP there is no need to prime the coving area with product prior to forming the cove with sand mix?

There is still a need to prime for proper adhesion, in this example the surface was not primed as we needed to remove the cove after the demonstration. Priming is essential for any coating, coving or mortar to achieve full unhindered adhesion.

For 2:1 ratio wouldn’t you had to mix 1liter part A and 500ml for part B ? What’s the ratio to sand?
