@@beautyis30 right. Luckily cows don't have a whole lot going on in the cranial cavity department so they forget about the pain pretty quickly, but sheesh. I can't imagine the amount of pain that must cause. Pigs are a different story. Pigs are actually intelligent mammals. It's a really tragic human trait that we treat pigs the way we do. I have watched probably every single hoof trimming video there is on youtube. And you sir, are the most gentle, and considerate of the cow’s pain. 3:24 it is mind boggling how sensitive you are being because you’re worried it will hurt her. other trimmers (very well known at that) will go too far and needlessly nick the corium because it’s a cow and they wanna get the job done and it is physically painful to watch. But you.. you treat every cow so gently and carefully it pulls my heart. Thank you for that. You will remain my favorite channel and trimmer and I hope you get the recognition you deserve!

I love cows, and respect farmers and vets that care for them. They are very social and humble creatures. I regularly go to my friend's farm here in Australia and play music for the 6 cows there, they absolutely love it and are so inquisitive and happy when they see me walking up with my guitar, they start running when they realise it's me now! Just so social and gentle. It changed my life when they demonstrated intellect, emotion and memory. It was like the first time I witnessed my chihuahua Toby show intellect when he was a puppy, it blew my mind and made me so humble, to be shown the connection and emotion these animals have and how they appreciate things we do, like music! It's insane and made me realise.

I’m fascinated by how what appears to be a small surface defect can hide so much more under the sole. Experience must guide you as some small defects are actually nasty lesions or abscesses while others you leave alone. I’m sure there’s clues that you’ve learned to spot that allows this. In cases like this where there’s a lot of pressure built up under the sole and against the corium it has to be quite painful, not to mention the puncture itself. Amazed as well at how much debris was just under the sole. Maybe the sole had partially grown over the area of the puncture?

I work at a waste meat processing plant and have seen a lot of overgrown, or damaged hooves, and chicken feet with massively overgrown claws, likely from not moving. Also every time there's a weather change, we get a huge number of animals that died of disease in a matter of usually less than a week. Poor things had a shiddy life. We also get a lot of critters, mostly cattle, that were very healthy in their time and I like seeing that.

Lo que siempre me ha agradado del Mr. Nate es la forma cuidadosa y delicada como trata a sus pacientes cuando realiza su labor de podología. Gracias por sus ilustrativos videos.❤

Sometimes these videos want to make me cry and this one was no exception. You do so much for these sweet cows and it makes me so happy to a) see how much you care about them and b) see the differences in how they walk when they’re no longer in pain/having a lot less pain in comparison to how they were before. Keep up the good work! 🐮🐮
