New topic - from HOA controlled community to owned by a local developer. Have always wondered how these major property owners seem to own a parcel of land BEFORE is goes up for sale. I'm living through this - and it isn't pretty.

If it's anything like my community, the developer owns the Open Spaces and until enough of the plots sell, they control the HOA.
