Indeed very nice scenery by Cli4d! I bought the 'Tropical adventure'. I recognise the impatience when landing; luckily my Chinook is very forgiving. Nice video, music could be improved imho.

All of Cli4D’s sceneries are beautiful! I already own the CS R66 so having a difficult time justifying buying the R22.

Yeah...all of his sceneries are fantastic! From a sim standpoint, there is not much difference in the R22 from the R66. The biggest distinction being the powerplant. The R22 is piston powered and the R66 is turbine. It's noticeably less powerful, but more nimble at the same time. The rotor system has less mass, so things happen much faster in an autorotation. Oh, and it’s a 2 seater and the R66 seats 5.

Thanks for providing clarity on the distinction. I will probably pick it up. I own all of them already except the R22 and Bell 222. My favorite of theirs is the 500E, but I am not a helicopter pilot so don’t know how authentic it is.

Thanks for the feedback! I was running a G2 before i picked up the Aero. Performance is about the same, but the Aero has more clarity and no discernable sweet spot.

I think the MSFS is cool to fly, but landing with the helicopter is just tedious as it goes up again during ground hover

This is how MSFS interprets ground effect. You have to stay steady when operating close to the ground. Smooth set downs take lots of practice, with different wind conditions too...

But in reality it is not like in msfs

It’s pretty close to reality in MSFS with my setup. No sim is exact to real life, but the latest sims in VR are better than you would think.
