To check the whether the sensor actually works or not, I brought an agarbati near the airpurifier.Neither the colour of light which inidcates air quality nor the fan speed changed. I really doubt whether this sensor is fake or not.

Have a question, bought it today. After starting this purifier I set auto mode. First 3-4 mins it blinks green-red-yellow; then the fan speed decreased and the light became green and it's stand still. That means my home's air already purified?

Yes. If your home air quality is good it will stick at green. If the air quality worsens then it will bump up the fan speed automatically and the light will change to either orange or red.

Hi, both the models that you have mentioned are great. The mi will have an app and aqi display advantage over the coway. Whereas the coway has a newer design and very long warranty from the company. At the end of the day check out which of the two has a better deal on Amazon or your choice of online shopping platform and buy the better deal. You won’t be unhappy with either 😊

For the room size mentioned you can go with either models. Coway 150 has filters available and I’m sure it will be available down the line as well. For winters Coway 150 has a lower fan speed Cleaning pre filter can be done with water only for Coway 150 as aim does not have a separate pre filter. For the main filter vacuum on low speed is recommended. There is no hot/warm air option on both the models. If you want warm air then you can go for Dyson but the price is almost 5 times more.

The difference is aim is a newer model so it has a remote and sleeker design. Whereas the 150 has a dedicated carbon and washable pre filter filter hence it is slightly more expensive. Both perform well so you can go in for either and you won’t be making a mistake.

Biggest difference is the 150 has a separate pre filter which can be washed and a separate carbon filter. Besides that rest is all same. The aim is a newer design. Both the models are good and you won’t regret buying either. So just pick the one that suits you both in looks and budget wise.

So far so good. I’ve not had any issues with the device. My filter is still going strong and it’s not asked me to replace it yet. I’m guessing in the next 2-3 months the filter will be due for replacement and I will share my replacement experience. The only other decent purifier under 10k is the xiaomi 4 lite but the drawback on that is the filter life is shorter.

Bro I'm using this about 2 days now. For these hours of usage I can't barely see a difference. I put some hairs around it for testing and it didn't even move even at the speed of 3. I have small dandruff problem these days and i can still see it in my table where i placed the Air mega Aim nearby. So is it really working???? I'm now worried what actually it usually does and why i bought. It always go to green after 1 minute and the fan is working perfectly as i can see it. No dust at all in the filter for now. My Air quality may be too good as currently its 43 in my area but it didn't even catch those hair or dandruff dusts as supposed to be.

I believe you have the wrong idea when it comes to air purifiers. The purifier catches small dust particles and tiny micro pet hair which are floating in the air. These are micro particles which are caught by the purifier and trapped in the filter. If you place hair next to the purifier it will not move it. No purifier will. I suggest a good vacuum cleaner is better suited for your dandruff problem. The air purifier if set to auto will reduce the fan speed once the air quality is good and it will display a green light. When it detects micro dust particles or bad odour/fumes (such as cooking oil, chimney smoke etc) it will increase the fan speed. Hope this helps!

It's an Air purifier, not a vacuum cleaner :P For dandruff use Anti-dandruff shampoo and for other 'Visible" dirt/dust use Vacuum cleaner. For everything else, use common sense :P

I’m pretty happy with the Air Mega Aim. Its performance has been stellar and yes it does get slightly loud when it’s running at max setting but the loudness is at par with the other air purifiers maybe 1-2 decibels louder.

Great question. For a 250 sq ft room I would suggest go for the air mega 150. I use that in my living room which is roughly 450sq ft and it purifies the air without any issue and pretty fast. Also the air mega 150 has a separate carbon filter which is thicker and better than the air mega aim as it can cover a larger area. Don’t go for the mi AP4 lite because that’s a budget friendly model. Instead go for the mi AP4 (the non lite version) If you prefer having the smart connect app. To be honest don’t overthink it. Go for either mi AP4 or the air mega 150. Both will perform well without any issues. The only difference between the two, the filter will last longer in the air mega 150 as compared to the mi AP4. It all boils down to personal preference and dimensions of the product based on where you want to place the purifier in the room. Regarding the sharp go-f40e-w I did a little research and that seems good but I couldn’t find the actual price of the replacement filter. I could only see third party offers and that’s a concern. Filters should be easily available and genuine. Both mi and Coway offer their replacement filters on Amazon and Flipkart. So do keep that in mind. Hope this helps. The smaller form factor does not affect the efficacy. I personally don’t have the mi 4 lite. I own the 150, aim and mi 3. All perform very well. The Coway does perform slightly better in my personal opinion. You can go for either but don’t go in for the mi4 lite. If you do choose the mi go for the regular mi 4

Don't buy this product, I bought same from Amazon. The aqi indication dose not comes green even after running overnight within a small closed bedroom. At night the fan noise is just too much you cannot even sleep properly. As far as the aqi indication there is no issues at my end. It does go to green. When you are sleeping you should select sleep mode so that the sound does not disturb you. If you leave it on auto then the fan will kick up if the aqi level changes.

It depends on your location. If you are in a very polluted area then it should run 24*7 but if you’re not in a polluted area then you can run it for the winter months when pollution does go up and you can reduce the usage during summers.
