Kent, I gotta say, watching your videos is like a warm hug from home. I feel like I'm watching family show me how to cook their favorite recipes. I just appreciate your attitude, your level of respect, how you carry yourself. And just like family, you offer a word of peace and advice. I just cannot tell you, how very much you mean to a lot of people who struggle with this old world. Thank you for being a little slice of heaven. Don't ever change a thing, every time I hear that twang, you take me home. Thank you both for all you do! God bless you both, I look forward to seeing you around the wagon again soon!

Another from Texas. Kent, looks delicious. The ONLY thing I would do different is cut the tips off the wings, because I freeze 'em and when I get enough discarded "chicken parts", I make chicken stock. (I know, there's a little bit of meat in the tip, but homemade stock is worth the short-term loss.) Thumbs up, in any event!

I have to be honest: whenever I heard this kind of linguistic mumbo-jumbo, especially "from that part of the world" and people start talking about family, it makes most people from a 1st world country rather uneasy. Out of interest I once looked at some family-trees of these people - virtually all straight lines and quiet shocking.

Mr. Cowboy Kent Rollins, I've recently refound your channel and this was the first of your recipes that I've gotten around to trying and may I just say that this fantastic. Didn't need to go out and buy nothing special for this, it was quick, it was easy, it was good, and maybe most important of all, it was completely different from all the other chicken wing recipes I've got up my sleeve. My father likes to tell people that we're a chicken wing family so I hope that helps frame just how much we were impressed. Keep up the good work!

Greetings from just north in the big town of Butler, Oklahoma! I'm all about the upcoming beef recipes, but any way we could get some lamb recipes? My wife and I are wanting to try new things but I don't like all the frilly recipes I find on the internet. I think I have pretty much watched every video you have ever posted in the last year or so, and I don't recall any lamb recipes. Maybe I should purchase a cookbook! We love your rubs, your green chili chipotle relish, and I really love my hash knife I got for Christmas! I also appreciate your knowledge of cast iron, as I was able to rehab some old cast iron from each of my grandmothers, one of which I learned to cook in as a boy. I love everything old and traditional, and I'm grateful that you 2 do what you do!

It's good to see people from all walks of live in comment sections and since you're in that line of business, I might need your expertise. See, my dog (a belgium Griffin, almost three years old, male) been having problems with some sort of diarrhea for almost three days now. Stool is all soft and goey, looks slightly yellowish and has a fishy odour, most foul. You think it's something he ate or does it sound more of a bacterial infection?

It isn’t cowboy style, but I would put the wings and sauce in a gallon ziplock bag. You can squish the sauce all around them without getting it all over you and they are already covered for resting in the icebox. As someone else said, I would cut off the tips and throw them in another bag. Not enough meat on them to fool with, but they are handy for making stock. Keep the great recipes coming. I don’t do much outdoor/campfire cooking anymore, but I used to in my younger days when I spent 15 years as a scout leader.

Being a disabled veteran I've not only into wood working. But I love to cook. And I have been trying some of the recipes out of your book since i got it. And I have loved everyone of them so far. Nevermind. That only gets problematic, once she passes the point-of-no-return (in other words: 40), since women age twice as fast as men do. I'll estimate that you'll begin to notice the first hag-like features in about 4 or 5 years... another six years perhaps, until the waiters at the restaurant compliments you for being kind and taking out your grandma to dinner. Plenty of time, old mate (and plenty of fresh fish in the ocean, if you know what I mean). Oh, please pass on my kindest regards and greetings to your wife...

Isn't it paradox, in a way? When old people manage to get on the internet, they still go on talking about the Great Depression and the times when Woodrow Wilson was president. Also something my grandmother taught me: when it comes to storing food, use everything but plastic. True. One should never go full ghetto when it comes to food.

I have been so hungry for wings. Thanks for making these. I will be going in the hospital next Tuesday 5th. For about 6 weeks I think. So I will be watching for my videos and catching up on the ones I'm running a little behind on. Thanks again and give the beagle a hug for me. We just had a litter of 4 kittens and another on the way. Hopefully before I go in. By the time I get home we will need to find homes for them. You all have a great weekend and I know you all don't have the deep freeze like we do here in Indiana. Crazy! 50 below one day 50 degrees plus in less than a week.

May I guess: a stomach reduction? By the way, seeing that your a lady of... uhm, "considerable appetites" and in case 4 kittens is 2 too many: they taste almost identical to rabbit, hence make an excellent stew, best eaten with sweet and sticky rice. Not bad at all and i have no idea why there are so many stray pussies running around everywhere.

I have used a lot of different natural lump, Cowboy, Ozark and others. My favorite at this point is Rockwood out of Missouri. It seems to burn longer and have less trash in the bag. Like this sauce recipe you have here. I usually go some what of a traditional route. Soaking the wings in straight hot sauce mixed with crushed garlic. Smoke 'em on the grill and baste with the hot sauce and butter mix. MMMMM cant go wrong with the wings. Look forward to trying this one on the smoker.

I have never liked the traditional wings with hot sauce and I have always liked horseradish but haven't had it with honey that much so these wings really look good. I like that sinus burn of the horseradish and the honey of course tempers it a bit. I don't watch football so I will make these all year round. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill.
