ESPN analyst said no playoff team fears Dak. Very,very TRUE. He is a great talent but lacks the quarterback i.q. to read defenses. This is the one thing he doesn't have ......if not he would be unstoppable. Sadly no one in the organization can zero in on this pro

I understand the Cowboy's problem, but this is a bet. If you think he can march through a playoff run with this defense/offense, then sure, go for it. Personally, after 8 years i don't think he can, i think he has glaring faults in his game, masked by inflated regular season stats and i don't need his teammates family members to reinforce my feeling that the Cowboys should go to draft and let him go.

It's no brainer on DAK contract. Just pay him the remaining of this year , either play him or bench him this season , his money is guarantee . Cowboys can't bail out on DAK contract.

Cowboys have all the leverage. Dak’s cap hit is $40 million so they have no motivation to sign Dak for anything near that and saddle themselves to an aging quarterback who is a playoff bust. With Dak’s unreasonable salary demands there is no possible trade partner. So Dak is on the Cowboys. Cowboys should offer a 5 year deal at $3 million a year. Dak would be foolish to not take it, where’s he going to go? If he leaves Dallas to go to a “weak” team he will be exposed that he is average. He should be smart and take a super cap friendly deal.

Josh Allen is 2-0 cs Dak and both games were blowouts and Dak couldn’t do anything. Dak pads his stats at the end of the game to make it look close. Dak is just 4th round average guy. Why would you pay him all that money when you could sign anyone to do the same thing he’s done which is lose when it matters. Cooper Rush was 5-1 when Dak was hurt. They'll take the hit in the short term, but either Dak drops his demanding to be the highest paid QB playing "just because", or he can take his show somewhere else. Never allow your organization to be held hostage like this. He's simply not worth the money he's asking.

Here's the contract problem. With the void year the cap hit is $40, but if they sign Dak for $30 per year for 3 years the cap hit is $60+$90=$150 million divided by 3 years = $50 million per year. The cap hit goes up. Dallas might as well let the contract expire. Nobody is going to sign Dak for more than Dallas will, so let him go t free agency and find out the reality just like Lamar (who is a thousand percent better than Dak) did. Oh Burn!!!

Dak is $40 million cap hit with 2 void years. Dak is not worth more than $5 million a year. Dak is going into the NFL Player Business Man Hall of Fame. Dak has been massively overpaid. He is great businessman, hat’s off to him, but as a player he is very average. I remember his first playoff game. Dallas had that fantastic running game. Dak looked like a deer in headlights. Dak’s 2 main problems are he can’t play from under center that hurts the running game. 2nd problem he can’t throw a crossing route to save his life. On the first drive against Green Bay he missed Cee Dee on that crossing route on 3rd down. That set the tone for the game all down hill.

If they do nothing there will be major changes next January, if they are play into late January they will deal with that. When you have a patchwork QB situation and trade away expensive assets cap is not a problem. If Jerry lives as long as Virginia, he has 20 years and 2 more rebuilds, it will be the time Jerry flips from fatalist to optimist. Jerry's son may be Mugs Halas, the daughter may end up owning the team though he does have a 2nd son.
