@@jenniferlawrence9473 I feel awful for Kelly. I wish everyone who criticizes her on social media would watch this and see all she has done. I've always liked and admired her, but wow, she is beyond incredible. I know the biggest gripe people have with her is the terrible pay the cheerleaders get, but that's beyond her control ... for now. I wouldn't be surprised if she's been working behind the scenes for years to try to get a pay raise for the girls. She's also responsible for all the extra Mo at they make for appearances and shoes. If she went with her heart, the team wouldn't be as good as they are. I'm sure making cuts is her least favorite part of her job.

I LOVE the phrase she gave: "If you do your best, it's not rejection, it's re-direction". So fitting - and on a personal note, so needed (and timely)! I have saved this to watch again. I love Kelli - she's compassionate, direct (doesn't sugar coat), professional and always striving to better herself/her community despite knowing that she has already done so much! I love watching the DCC shows - been watching for 15 years - and although I can't dance (and I'm not going to TRY to dance!!!!), it's refreshing to see reality TV that can be classy!! I'd love to be a manager/have a manager as great as she is.

Kelli I love watching the DCC show because I love dance & gymnastics. I took both as a child. You are an awesome director, instructor, role model, and drop dead gorgeous! You've changed so many young women's lives and whether they make the team or not, they all respect you for your candor and compassion. More corporations need directors exactly like you. You go above and beyond for the DCC as well as the organization. The pride you have for your organization shows in everything you do and say. I'm currently watching the 2021 season and enjoy it immensely. I'm 57 years old now, but watching the show brings back fond memories when I danced and tumbled! Kelli you are an inspiration to so many young ladies and the organization is lucky to have you. Keep it up Kelli and God bless!

The cheerleaders get squat for pay but many do it because they hope being on tv will give them exposure to jump start their careers. The DCC team makes So Much Money off the women from having them pose in swimsuits for 5 different calendars, the group photos they sell in different sizes & then DCC is paid by companies for the cheerleaders to show up. Don’t forget about Netflix & Amazon sells the individual series of shows people pay to watch so DCC is making Billions of the women. I’m sure there is a lot more they make off the women’s faces & bodies too. This is what DCC also list as Revenue: Appearances, Shows, Camps, Audition- you have to pay to audition, Competitions, Television & Sponsorship
@brandi66RN2 жыл бұрын
The only weakness I see in cheerleaders is their tumbling. Two of my girls did high-level gymnastics their entire lives and some of the gals who couldn’t cut it as a gymnast went into cheerleading. I watch cheerleaders tumble and I’m just waiting for a broken neck. If you can’t tumble really well, don’t do it.

Do the cheerleader get money from the revenues????
@GiaMarie8153 жыл бұрын
Revenue minus expenses equals net income. Payroll is an expense. So yes, the cheerleaders and Kelli and everyone employed for DCC, i.e. office personnel are paid with revenue. Net income (profits), the bottom line, must be in the black to have a prosperous business. The cheerleaders get a lot of perks that go with the job (hair, nail, tans, travel and probably much more).
