Have Air Max sneakers ever really been known for their under-foot comfort? I didn't think so, they've always been a heavy, flat-soled shoe, I've never considered them to be a choice for comfort per se.

Got mine yesterday. Air Max fan since the early 90s. I went 1 size bigger due to Air max having thicker padding, only down side for me is the inner tongue, it curls on the upper inside making lines on your food, feels annoying after a while.

Got a pair of these as they looked good & were cheaper than other airmax 90s. Ended up buying a pair of propor 90s a few weeks later. The Terrascapes look fine, but there heavy & really stiff. The loop thing at the back makes your pants just not sit right on them. They do get more comfortable the more they are worn & ill still wear them. But there not my favourite at all and i wouldnt buy again. Also the nike sign at the heel has design flaws, making it look kinda cheap when you examine it a bit.

huge AM90 fan, these are some of the nicest looking AM90's to ever come out especially in that Sail color-way, but they feel nothing like OG AM90's they're so uncomfortable in comparison, yes you could wear them for a few hours and be ok, but when you get used to the level of comfort that the regular AM90's have provided for decades, I can't justify these shoes. Nike needs to get rid of this crater foam tech, because it's quite literally garbage, in this day in age with Boost, Zoomx, React, Freshfoam you can't possibly wear this brick like material and be ok with it.

I love how am90s look but they feel awful on the soles. These feel a lot better on my feet not quite 95s but much better than regular am90s and a great price on the on sale colorways

A cup sole is basically the clear TPU on the outside which literally cups the inner crater foam and air unit. Examples of other cup sole shoes are the Nike Dunk, Air Jordan 1, Air Force 1, adidas Stan Smith, super Star The crater foam and the air unit is the one providing the cushioning.

Much prefer these to the 97 version personally. Im hardly young, bit i was oy ten when these iconic trainers released one of my all time favourites. Ill take the slight lack of comfort for potentially a harder, longer wearing sole. Not the first pair of nineties with that tongue problem. It usually softens in my experience.

Lol the clopping is very true 😂😂 but I wore mine throughout a whole day and they did soften up after a few hours. I feel like these willl get better with time and wear.

Nahhh...the sizes are off. I'm a 7, have been for 20 years 🤣 7s in these are half a size to big. Now I have to de masculte myself further and get a 6.5 😭 I must add tho, I got the summit white/iron ore version.

My AM 90s are like clod hoppers compared to my Air Huararches. Heck, the old Air Delta Force basketball shoes I had in 1990 were more comfortable than these silly Air Max 90s they make today!!

Damn i wanted these so bad yoo look so sick….i ended up getting the Air Force 1 black with gum. Haven’t had a pair for forces in a while and I’ve always loved how durable they are. I want more Jordan retro 4s ( my all time favorite shoe in every single way possible) but they make them so expensive on their small runs. Like wtf they’re great shoes they should have a couple regular looking black pair and white that’s always released so people can buy them just to wear them instead of collect.

They're a bit stiff at first but they just need breaking in, eventually they mould to the shape of your foot, and are very comfortable. A solid shoe imo.

I now have my first pairs, bit stiff when new bought. On reddit people say that will get better over time when they break in. Reason I bought them? 1) They look nice, altough I like the look of normal 90s and also bw classic(barely made nowadays anymore) better 2) the last years ‘original’ 90s are terrible quality, yes they are super comfort, super looks, super colors..but quality is terrible compared to years ago. Years ago they last 2 years as daily drivers. Now maybe 1 year. Things that easily wear within no time are the soles around the air box:losing color and cracks, the soft side heels inside too, then the outer side of the toes as well. I am really carefull with my shoes..

Love the look of these trainers but the lack of comfort in the midsole is a deal breaker for me. I can't invest in these to experience how poor the comfort is underfoot. Why didn't they use Reach foam or something else to make these all-dayer shoes? So annoying.

waited for ages for these after the delays and managed to get a couple of pairs of the dark ones but as soon as I got them and opened the box, I immediately sent them back. I didn't even try them on! I thought they looked great until I got them in person. I know its part of their move to zero but no packing paper?? Also, the box was crap looking and I thought the shoe was also so rough looking with all the regrind material in it. My biggest let down yet with any shoe. Glad I got rid of them before even finding out how bad the comfort is with them. Any airmax 90 should be super comfortable.I had the same issue with the airmax 90 'kiss my airs'. Amazing looking shoe but awful comfort and narrow arch area, nothing like a normal airmax 90.
