Yo I saw your stream today you said you were buying a caravan and a med evac soon. Do not buy med evac it is so bad. For one it is very hard to get S rating. Next problem is the pay is bad. You get 300k for a 600nm flight. Finally and this is the worst is the glitches. The med re route is super bugged. Sometimes the game doesn’t re route you, but when it does, it doesn’t tell you where to go half the time. Next problem is there is glitch that stops mission progress and you can’t complete the mission, you can land and everything but you won’t be able to complete the mission. Another bug is the flight plan won’t show you the airport and once again you can’t complete the mission. Lastly for some reason half the time the game wants you to cruise at 30k ft. The max altitude of the plane is 25k feet and you’re supposed to cruise at 11k ft. You can fix this in the flight planner but it makes all the glitches I just said more likely to happen. Factor that in with the game crashes and maybe plane crashes and you’re looking at a 70% completion rate. Also don’t buy the cheapest Cessna it will cost 1mill+ to repair look for a new one or one 3mill+ dollars.

I really like these missions. Search and rescue, fire fighting, crop dusting and the lift missions are all a lot more fun than the take off at A and fly to B stuff I did in 2020.

This looks awesome I worked out there for years in the Gulf of Mexico as a production operator from the time I was 18 until I was 28 and on Aug 5 2001 I went out of the Cameron/Creole base for Airlogistic on a Ranger 206L model going to west Cameron 227 when we reach the platform something on the helicopter broke we spun out of control into the water that broke my back and crushed my spinal cord with the bird flips and sinks I was paralyzed from waste down I was able to get out pull my May west and float until a friend jumped in and help me into a stokes litter then onto a boat the lifted onto platform then onto lifeflight then 10 hrs of surgery 61 days in the hospital and 2 years in rehabilitation. I loved that job I sure miss it and them crazy guys out there.

I would hope that during RL heli ops, they would at least turn away the crane boom 😅

They do. All cranes usually shut down 20 minutes before the helicopter lands on the rig

IRL, the boat would come close enough to the rig for the rigs Crane to make the lift.

Has anyone figured out how to use their mouse in the sim. I like using my mouse to move my camera around in the cockpit, but it it's to fast, and I can't figure out how to slow the camera speed down.
