In response to what you stated about normally sitting in the right seat of heli. That is generally correct except for utility Helis like the sky crane and the Md 500. Manufactures place seating this way because It’s generally easier to look over your left side were your collective hand is low compared to your right.

Love your videos, its more fun watching than actually playing the game. I tried choppers in the game at the start with my yoke setup and couldnt get it to work, im glad you mentioned the xbox controller in your other stream, i might try and give it a go with a ps4 controller instead.

I tried helicopters on Xbox controller and it was uncontrollable 😭 lol I couldn't even pass my first license 😂 I'm gonna have to give it another go lol

@@CowTown Can you use the assists when in career mode? I'm primarily interested in helicopters but couldn't even get past the bit of training where you have to control everything with no assistance! It felt like the rudder sensitivity and everything was soooo off.

I use the three assists for the helicopter that makes it a lot easier to control, and I just use the dedicated button on my Thrustmaster HOTAS One Flight Stick! (You can just program a random key on the keyboard for external view as well!) Thank you for the $1.99!

for people if your first" Aerial construction mission disappeared ( if the yellow mission icon not show up on the world map take the night certification, even though it’s not listed as needed for this specific mission that is a bug that happen to me to so just take the night certification and mission will show up again

I think these construction missions are broken right now because of too much ground lift from ledges (in this case the transmission tower), but I completed it by cheating a little bit with slower sim rate. There is also a bug in these mission related to collective aid sometimes getting stuck at certain altitude when pausing the game. And a weird behavior when shutting down the skycrane, but maybe I just don't know how to shut down properly.

I see you had a similar experience with the initial job. Unfortunately I've only got 1 other job after that on my map and it fails automatically on start.

I wish they'd fix the BLOWN OUT HIGHLIGHTS - reduce exposure = ( also would be cool to AUTO PILOT once hovering and then be able to lower and raise the cable.

Hello. I now have access to missions with the Chinook and the Aircrane, but while missions with those it's stuttering like hell. But it's ok when I use them on free flights. Dunno what's wrong.

Now that I think about it, Career Mode should have been implemented way back in FS2000 era. When the graphics were basic. Now that everything is so real, who wants to do missions??? I'm off to sight-see!

I wonder if once your over the base with the tower,hit the hover button and then go into the Crain Seat ,the lower it down, ???? Maybe it could work

Yes Insurance and Crew stuff has been fixed. Should be getting positive numbers out of it now 🙂

On another youtubers channel he said not to go for the rotary license because it doesn't make much money compared to cargo. Is that true because I was thinking about going for it but my money is quite low and I'm making between 500 to 800. I don't own a company yet so that's also why.

Can you do this from the cockpit view only? Every one i seen do heli missions from the external cam.... Looks kinda like they are playing gta

You could but you don’t have any spotters on the ground so you couldn’t really see alignment

Jup, it’s rather disappointing that the AI doesn’t really call out the position of the target in close proximity to you. The same stuff happened back in FSX: Acceleration.😢

In your video the helicopter behaves very controlled. My helicopter flips around and up and down like a hurricane. I was able to hook the support on the millionth attempt, but I can't get it back in place. As soon as I get to the unloading point, the helicopter goes sideways. I'm on a mission somewhere else. The same thing, I noticed I had at the start mission agrikultura, I could not hover over the truck, as soon as I approached the site, the helicopter blew sideways

Certainly recommend turning on the 3 Helicopter Assists in the Assistances menu! Helps out tremendously!
