I will say that I was confused about the difference in color between the projectiles. The tutorial could perhaps be a little more clear on that front, but I don't know.

Exactly! They parry for the tutorial and Run ‘N Gun level, and never in the Boss Levels! It’s infuriating to watch, though Jesse and Crendor make it incredibly entertaining at the same time.

Today we learned: -The Game humbles you as soon as you proclaim you're getting good. -Dashing is a feature easily forgotten in boss fights. -Crendor has been secretly replaced by an Ork. The WAAAGH is real. A quite fun and entertaining playthrough, and the two are more capable than games journalists :D

Pretty much the whole game is based around 30's style of animation/cartoons! The animators even hand drew and inked all the animations as well as water colored the backgrounds to create the 30's style which was the way they did it back in the day! I wouldn't just say Disney art style ,because things like Betty Bop and Popeye...ect would have a pretty big influence. One animator actually said they didn't really follow Disney's style to much because there art style was linear and didn't allow the characters to transform into the crazy bosses we see now! but others might have been influenced by Disney!

I'm not sure how much the cost of porting would be but I do know that the game uses Unity which is from what I've seen one of the "easier" engines to work with for porting. But yeah your right it is a niche game which is a bit surprising to me that the one console it was made for was the XBox. I mean the Switch seems like it would have a bigger audience for the side scrolling platform genre but considering how long this game was in development they couldn't have known about the Switch and its native Unity support.
