Day 4 and besides starting off with the worse sore throat i ever had and a slight fever, the sores and blisters on my hands and feet are very painful! Thank god for Tylenol. My worse fear is developing an infection from the blisters so besides keeping them clean I'm applying Neosporin on the sores for further protection. I wouldn't wish this on my worse enermy. Worse than shingles which i had last year!

I need help please. I did lab test and reference value for IGM was more than 50, I had 42.3 on the test. Does that mean I am infected or not at all? Number is close to 50. IGG was 15, reference value is more than 100 so that's alright. My blood pressure is alright, my heart is very healthy I was checking that too and overall my conditioning is fine I don't get tired while I run, do pull ups or play sports. Sometimes I feel weird feeling/pain near chest area so because of that I had many panic attacks, now is better I am just curious about this number 42 it's close to 50 IGG does it mean I have coxsakie or not...

1:05 Could you elaborate alittle more please? How do the droplets of the aerosole get contaminated and then transfer to another person?
@MedVidsMadeSimple
@MedVidsMadeSimple 6 жыл бұрын
Respiratory droplets of infected people will contain the viruses. When someone comes into contact with the respiratory droplets of the infected people, they have more chances of getting the infection. Hope I clarified your doubt. Feel free to ask me if you have any other doubts.

Why does everybody pronounce Coxsackie incorrectly. I’m from right up the road (NYS Thruway) from Coxsackie. It is pronounced “Cook-sac-ee”

@@MedVidsMadeSimple Anytime. I think it is the most mispronounced word in medicine. When I was in medical school I told all the professors they we're pronouncing it wrong and the didn't believe me.

A culture of monkey cells (Vero) and a group of mouse sucklings were infected with an inoculum taken from a child with provisional diagnosis "enterovirus infection". There was no cytopathic effect on the cell culture but mouse sucklings died. What enteric viruses might have caused disease of this child? A. Coxsackie A B. Coxsackie B C. ECHO virus D. Polioviruses Could you kindly help me with this question and explanation?
