loved your "3 wheels using speed to jump" - I had no idea what I was doing when I went through this in my Rodeo back in the 90's, but I had scrapes along the sides to help tell the story of "3 wheels and jumping!"

Wow, I was just there today and the road has been renovated. Not nearly as rocky. I stopped driving at the second crossing -- judging the water too deep this time for my Crosstrek's 9" ground clearance, but watched a few Jeeps make it through. Continued on foot looking for the place where I turned back 3 years ago -- foot of the boulder climb -- and the boulders had been removed from the road. Kept going on foot to the monument. This is an amazing place.

All I keep thinking about with these videos is how great the Renegade would be with about 20-30 or so hp in the 1800-2400 rpm zones or with Active Drive II/Lock. There just isn't enough power being made at crawling speeds/rpm. That being said, good on you for getting out and seeing cool stuff with it. I think one of the best features of the renegade is that it makes trails like this interesting again because its not just a matter of rotating a few dials and kicking back while the rig does all the work.

Trailhawks looking good! Can you give me details about your setup? Lift kit, wheel and tire size, ect... I have a white Trailhawk and I'm looking to do the same. Are you having problems with rubbing on turns?

+Chris O'Donnell My setup is in the description. After my experiences with the tire setup, I recommend you stick with 225 tires with either a 16" or 17" rim.

Why stick with the 225s? Loss of power or grip? Did your gas mileage change significantly with larger than stock tires?

Your fiat 500 did great! And sir you do not have 4x4 Lo.... it just puts it in 1st gear.... My stock 5th gen 4runner can do that easy. Might need 4x4. I do have Falken wildpeak At3w 32" tires but.... good job for a fiat 500 I mean jeep! Just messin around. Good job!

Since you guys have been using the Renegade, how capable would you say it is compared to other SUVs on the market?

+Michael Miller Can't say. Haven't used much of anything else on the market comparable. 80's 4 runner, 80's cherokee, 90's landcruiser, 00"s ranger, and 10's tundra. It doesn't really compare to any of those with bigger lifts, engines, and better 4x4. But everything those have gotten through, I've been able to make it with the Renegade as well.
