This is exactly the type of Mustang we all wish we had in our garages. This man decided to just build it. If only we could get some Ford executive down to his shop and explain this is all you need. This is the body style we love. Don’t complicate things. No we don’t want more crap some engineer wants to design. The 67-68 body style is what we want.

SBworks 67-68 is a modern looking car as far as I’m concerned...67-68 body style with modern engine and suspension and electrics...can’t go wrong...these would sell like hot cakes
@sbworks20474 жыл бұрын
mercedes oh yeah know , im not saying noone would buy them , but i would say they would sell the same amount as the mustang of now , mainly because they wouldnt have an ecoboost or v6 version
@monikhushalpuri4 жыл бұрын
SBworks people would still buy them with 6 cyl and 4 cyl engines...I don’t think you know but back when these 60’s cars were new...you could get fastbacks with straight 6’s...compared to the v8 all show and no go...even though the modern 4 cyl and 6 cyl ecoboost engines are just a tune away from keeping up with/ outrunning the new 5.0’s...even from mopar you could buy challengers, dusters, chargers etc with 6 cylinder or base v8 engines that were marketed as fuel economy versions if they didn’t offer a straight 6 back then...people will buy them more nowadays with the smaller engines due to higher gas prices compared to the old days...the market is only there if you create it

in the late 1960's, there was a company making a similar spoiler/trunk lid. It wasn't Cal Custom, but someone along that line. The market had made a ton of cosmetic stuff for the Corvair since it was a youth market, but when the Corvair fell out of favor and the Mustang replaced it, there was a lot of stuff--bumper guards shaped like horseshoes in JC Whitney, etc. as for communism, to say the entire Soviet Union had the same viewpoint is like saying every American is a liberal because they give lip service to freedom of speech, assembly, and other individual rights. When the bolsheviks tried to import Marxism, they had a problem--it was a historical theory based on industrial societies deciding to join together rather than accept division by capitalists...and Russia was still feudal as could be in 1917.
