Just something I do with my wax dirt when making a set, when I sift it over the trap and the trap is covered I spread the wax dirt in a larger area than just the trap covering. I feel like they don’t pinpoint or focus on just the spot where the trap is bedded. Great show guys keep up the awesome work!!

When I was a young boy one of the first things I learned from the elders was how to read the terrain looking for spots areas that would more likely yield a catch very important to successful trapping hunting

That was really good. Looking forward to watching the next episode.

Farm equipment doesn’t bother coyotes in a area. A lot times they will walk along side of a tractor or combine waiting for you to jump up the food for them. If they see a pickup truck, they are running away.👍

I have thought that I had contaminated wax dirt before as well. I ended up adjusting my urine bottle to mist and actually spraying over my entire trap bed, as well a decent area surrounding my trap bed. The catches seemed to pick up. I know you would never want your trap itself to smell like urine, but they seemed to pay it no mind when the entire area smelled like urine.

I get 2 every week on 10 aches of woods. NW Indiana...corn fields all sides of me. I set 30 sets though....LMAO. Great meat for stew.

I like level on top of my trap or even a bit high. Because in wet weather ,with wax dirt it sheds off. My traps will fire in some pretty bad weather.

Hi Mr. Charlie, I would like to know something about trap wax. Can a person keep using the wax in his pot. Till it is getting used up. As long as you keep a lid on it. So it's free from contamination. Thanks buddy, happy holidays

Hey guys could you give me some help on how you do your audio? Having some trouble with microphones:, wind and all that. Do you use a shotgun mic on the camera or do you guys wear wireless mics? Your audio sounds really crisp and clear. Thank you
@HoosierTrapperSupply4 жыл бұрын
sorry for the late reply. We just use a shotgun mic on the camera. Rode brand, it does have the "dead cat" wind screen cover

Noticed your using one lure with urine and bait this time instead of two. Any reason?

no real reason....we like to change things up from time to time.
