Losing a pet is such a difficult thing to go through! So sorry you've had to deal with that. We lost our mixed breed doggo in March and I still find myself looking for his nose in the crack of the door when I come home. My 5yo daughter occasionally looks to where his bed used to be. It breaks my heart every time. 10 years was just not enough 😭 Thank you for sharing your adventures with your pets. It warms my heart ❤

Had a cat for 20 years that was the most well behaved cat I've ever seen. A kid could sit on top of him for 20 mins completely trapping him so he couldn't move and the worst he'd ever do is look at you like "I could use a little help here." Hated to be away from you, would always find a way to lay on you or near you...and yet through all that still was somehow the most fierce hunting cat I've ever seen (he could bring in double-digits in chipmunks per day if there was enough around). It's never enough time, but the good ones are always worth it.

I have a Boykin Spaniel And a English Springer My Boykins favorite play buddy is our black cat. They play really nice and she is careful not to hurt the cat. When she plays with our other dog it's a much rougher playtime. Amazing how they know the difference!

I used to have a pet fox. It was bought ad a pup from a pet store in florida by some college kids. When they brought it home to SC they discovered they didnt like fox poop in the house.(fox poop smells like skunk to me and foxes mark their territory, even inside the house.) It was a great little fox. He was a Norwegian artic fox. As a pup he fell in love with my dog. He thought my fog Ralph was his mom, which confused Ralph. It was funny watching the fox and dog playing in the back yard. First the dog would chase the fox, they they would switch and the fox would chase the dog. When the dog got tired the fox would leapfrog on Ralph's back. My cats wouldnt have anything to do with the fox. And the cats didnt like our pet squirrel, because it liked to ride them around the house. I even had a lovebird that had gotten loose from somebody. It started coming to my bird feeder and i finally figured out a trap to catch it. The lovebird trained all my cats to loose interest in any bird. They wouldnt even catch outdoor birds. When the lovebird was first put in a cage he stayed by the bars and the cats were curious and tried to sniff him. As soon as they did that CHOMP! Every cat in the house got the Chomp treatment and never bothered any of my birds after that. That lovebird could walk around the house and the cats just left any room he walked into.

Weaves boundless energy sure does highlight the difference between a wild animal and domesticated dog. It also shows why it is a bad idea for people to try and keep one as a pet. You have amazing patience which Weave requires.
