I would rather have that car over a chevelle any day.

I wont say that but for the price comparison this Cutlass is a real muscle car with a great stance. Got nice performance too.

"Not a Chevelle", but hey, Oldsmobile's were better cars than a Chevrolet anyway. :)

Guys look on the shelf above the water pump and below the intake manifold. I'd bet that what you will find there will be 396021 F (possibly with a small uppercase A) indicating that it is indeed a 455. The exhaust manifolds give that away as well as those particular manifolds will not fit on a 350 no matter how hard you try. EDIT: Upon further inspection that intake looks to be a Torker. Edelbrock does not make that manifold for the 350.

I went back and looked and I don't think the 455 was available for the Olds in 71, but the standard 400 was but you are right, that isn't a rocket 350 for sure.

@@King_Nero_1 Olds stopped making the 400 when the cubic inch displacement restrictions for the A-bodies were lifted after the 69 model year. This car most likely came from the factory with a 350, but this is a big block for sure. Also the car has a 200-4R transmission in it which wasn't manufactured until the mid 80s.

@@randybehrmann5454 The Rocket 350 was a great engine, but yeah, definitely a big block this is.

If this was a Cutlass S it would have an S on the hood ornament an S under each Cutlass logo and an S on each door panel. That being said nice car >
