How do you feel about the MaxFLow BOV now? I have had it on for about 6 months here in Cali and low-key it is ridiculously loud lol. The sound reflect off everything, cars, sidewalks, walls, and it is so loud! lol sounds good but loud

Nice video. I ended up changing my blow off valve on my 350 Z set up and it definitely makes a big difference and it is definitely a head turner and like you said it is extremely extremely loud and it’s definitely a head turner but out here in California it’s definitely a head turner for the cops to so I usually take it on and then put the old one back on because I can only take so much of it myself I think I only bought it back on when I’m doing shows or anything like that but for daily driving when I am driving it I go back to the original flutter just because it’s just a lot quieter but again awesome video and thank you for that not a lot of people like to post stuff Vortech stuff specially on the racing ball valve which I do recommend as well but only if you can stand a really high pitch sound especially if you have to drive on the freeway for a while.

I have the stock one and went to 14 psi . so lund recommended to go with bv57 blowoff valve . after that I barley make 7-10 psi !!

So I just got my paxton installed few weeks ago and I ordered the race bov today. I see you didn't have to remove the front bumper. Were you doing data logs because of the new bov? I talked to my tuner and they said a tune revision was not necessary

I had flutter on a cheap BOV went to a Tial 50mm and it solved it. But I HATED THE SOUND so I made a filter to go around it. It's cool when you open it up but around town its so annoying.

Cars and Stuff 30 minutes. I just turned the wheel to face inwards, popped the push pins out of the plastic fender well and it's accessible right through there. Kind of an awkward angle, but it can be done.

Is the air that you're blowing off post maf sensor? if so the maf has already calculated that air and adjusted fuel based on that air. So all that metered air needs to be recirculated back into the intake system post maf to keep the target a/f ratio. This is why the original race valve has the port for the air to go back into the system. If you dont recirculate that already metered air, but you instead blow it off to atmosphere as you are with the new BOV, then you will run rich when not in boost which is another issue itself.

n9pe it's located right off supercharger so pre maf. The original still vented to atmosphere it just had a filter over the outlet
