I'm 65, and love Aerie tops. I'm only 5', i buy the xs, and yes, they are way oversized, but i love wearing my tops big. They're so soft and cozy! I will usually front tuck them. I also love AE/Aerie, because they offer pants in short sizes! I'm ordering the green oversized top. Great finds!❤❤

I personally love aerie leggings. They're a little thicker like you mentioned and the waist isn't too compressive. I get a stomach ache after a while with really compressive leggings. Must be another lovely side effect of getting older lol. I like the super plain ones and wear them like tights under dresses/skirts with boots. ❤

I guess I am in the minority but I think these big oversized sweatshirts and sweaters are cute worn just as they come with leggings or skinny jeans! Also, they are even cuter because of the fabrics and styling details! I wish that these types of comfy tops were a thing in the 90s and earlier 2000's...I think leggings and skinny jeans would have been much more popular! Those of us who dared to wear skinny jeans back then never thought about covering our butt!😂❤️😘

I don't disagree! I think it depends on the pants but yes with leggings I would just wear them down! To me they can also be nice lounge clothes but just look a little nicer than some of my other stuff 😄

Hey, so I just found you because I want to buy the Getaway Quarter Snap Sweatshirt but I live in Europe so returning isn't really an option. 🙈 My issue is that I have quite wide hips compared to the rest of my body. Since I want to wear it hanging down over leggings I'm worried that it might be too tight around my booty and I would prefer a loose fit. Would you say it is oversized around the hips as well? I would usually wear an M in tops but my hips are 45in wide which would be at least an XL in Aerie bottoms. 🙈 I own the Aerie Textured Henley Hoodie in M and it fits very nicely oversized, even around my hips. But since this one does have a "waistband" that kind of cinches it I'm really worried it might be too tight. What size would you recommend?

I’m not 100% on the size but for that sweatshirt it is a stretchy “band” at the bottom but it is not very tight. I would say it is a looser band than a lot of other sweatshirts. I hope that helps!

I have not had good luck with their leggings. I’m 5’3 and 120lbs and all three pairs I have ordered from Aerie have ripped within an hour. I also don’t like have extra size their clothes are. I’m too tiny to wear such oversized clothes

Well shoot! I have had mine a while and washed and dried them multiple times and they still seem ok! That's a bummer though!

Thanks for sharing items you have had for a while. It’s always nice to know how these clothes wash and dry. I do not ever wear leggings, as I think they are very unflattering on most people, unless they are for the gym. The oversized shirts are cute, I just do not wear this type of top, it makes me look frumpy. I’m 5’8 and on the thinner side, but still do not like to look sloppy. Just my opinion - I do enjoy you and your videos.
