Great place for camping. With your equipment, I would always look for rain, hail und thunderstorms to get the most out of it. It looks always comfy.

Yes it did great! Thankfully they aren't in this area, but the fires are definitely destroying lots of the forest 😔

a slow river nearby would have made this perfect. are you camping on BLM land? around here in Illinois we have no places like this to camp on. all the places here say i have to keep my dog leashed and he cant roam around.

Yes I agree! The one thing missing!! We usually like to camp up in national Forests, we have a lot around here in Colorado, just follow a forest service roads till you find a nice spot. Check out the Dyrt app, we can sometimes find nice dispersed camping spots on there! Hopefully that helps!
