You could also try the basket with the greenery on top of the hutch and move around the things on the bottom. Maybe move the pitcher on the table over there since you use that space for home schooling. Beautiful purchase and looks like it was meant to be! 🤍💯

Love how u combined the pieces to give your room a great look for only 50.00. It’s going to be fun to decorate it seasonally. Did you think of putting a white plate behind each transferware piece on the top shelf . They look a little small and a white plate behind each one will make them stand out more 😊

Great idea swapping out the base. They now look intentional and cohesive. The lines of the base suit the lines in the back of the hutch. So happy you left the arch over the sofa and put the large framed black wall words up. It really balances the tall hutch on the other side. And to me a tall hutch or armoire elevates any space, and makes it feel complete. Also , I have been a huge proponent of something black as an anchor is every room. I know you are loving this space now. And for so little investment!

When you said from the car that the hutch may get painted my heart sank a tiny bit. However, it looks so nice painted black. I agree, the two pieces were made to be together. It’s a flexible piece with so many options for use. This was a great find!
