The chicken and dumplings sounds so good. One trick that has really helped me with onions is keeping them in the fridge. Chilling them reduces the enzymes that cause eye irritation, so they don’t make me tear up as much.

For onions, place a wet paper towel on your cutting board. The part of the onion that makes you cry goes to the nearest water source. Therefore if you add a paper towel it will go there and you can wash off some of the juices once you cut it in half, that helps too! Big fan been following you for years now, that you for all you do ❤️

Two things!!! I used lash serum all last year and had the best lashes of my life but also noticed the dark circles and that my eyes were just overall more red and irritated. I made the decision to stop using it and then shortly after saw they had a class action lawsuit filed against them 😂 I signed up for it and JUST got paid some money from it hahaha so while I now have short lashes again, at least I feel safer and my eyes hurt less. The dark circles are still sadly there and am not sure if they will ever fully fade. AND i loved your bangs!! fully support you re-entering that era ❤

Shredding hack: put your chicken breasts in the bowl of a stand mixer and shred with the paddle attachment. Or, in a deep bowl, shred with a hand mixer. Super fast, easy and small pieces.

I hate the damage it does to my hair changing it up all the time so any time I get the urge I go for a wig. Have fun with a new look without the commitment til it grows back out. Carrie idk if you’d like it but I love the Plan to eat app! It is a meal planning app where you can store your recipes and you can edit servings and it will make your grocery list it is a lifesaver and I love recommending it it’s pretty cool. A tip for onions from someone who has to cut them every night for work: wear gloves. It helps so much. Idk the science behind it but the comparison between when I don't (cutting them at home) vs when I do (at work) is crazy. There are some onions that will make your eyes water no matter what tho 😂

Tip when cutting onions rinse the cutting board in cold or have a cold bowl of water near. You can also rinse the onion in cold water after slicing it in half.. I have made a similar recipe before but need to try it in the crock pot! Happy Birthday Drew!
