Cozy Disney Wilderness Lodge Christmas Tree Vlog! Holiday Treats, Roaring Fork BBQ, Cozy Fires

Join me for a visit to Disney's Wilderness Lodge on the first day they've put up their famous 5-story Christmas tree for 2023! This is an annual tradition to do a cozy Wilderness Lodge vlog once the tree has been installed in the lobby. We enjoy crackling fireplaces, dine at Roaring Fork, try some delicious holiday treats from the new treat stand, hot apple cider, check out all the new decorations, and the new holiday merchandise, and see Fire Rock Geyser erupt (on the second try at least haha!). This is a bit of a musical vlog, it's meant to be relaxing, fun, and really have you feel like you're there, soaking it all in with me, having food and drink by cozy fires, letting the glittering lights and special rustic holiday decor of the Lodge whisk us away, and getting in a chill mindset as we move into the holidays! This time of year can sometimes be hectic or stressful, so I want to bring you with me for this moment of zen from one of my favorite Disney resorts! Cozy vlogs are a holiday tradition! ✨ Wilderness Lodge was the first _proper_ Disney resort we ever stayed in, many many years before we were DVC. A lot has changed since that stay many years ago, but a lot has stayed very much the same and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. The geyser and the rushing creek are some of our favorite elements on property! I think we could probably get behind the spicy coleslaw, too, though we've yet to try it personally haha We've also never visited the lodge during the holiday season, but we love seeing the big tree in your vlogs and your posts each year. Thanks for helping to get us in the holiday spirit! 🎄

My mom and I first stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in early December 1998 for a week. Since then we tried to stay every year or two, yet the last time has been about 8-10 years ago. It always would get us in thr Christmas spirit and takkng the boat over to the Magic Kingdom.

Thanks for sharing. The last time I was at wilderness lodge at Christmas time was November 2020, during Covid. Everything looks so beautiful through my mask lol. And I agree with you the best way to get to all the different Disney resorts is from Disney Springs. Great info. The holiday store. They have an a lobby with gifts and treats looks fabulous. I've always thought the lodge is the crown jewel of the Disney properties. I believe it was meant to replicate the lodge at Old Faithful but it surpasses that. And the details are incredible. Even down to the doorhandles and electric switches. And your spot on that I'm not sure we'll see that again. And as your showing it's just stunning during the holidays. We've been tempted to stay but we've gone with the cabins at Fort Wildnerness and took the boat over. We are heading over on the 9th and I hope we can get to the lodge. As usual you look great. I just Love Wilderness Lodge hope to stay there again in future. We were lucky to stay there for vacation in 2020, because the cheaper resort we would have stayed in wasn't open yet after the pandemic shut down, it was in August, so didn't see Holiday decor, but it’s one of our favorite resorts. Every time Jackie goes to Wilderness Lodge wonderful memories staying there come to mind😊. This was a great look around. Of course the food there is delicious 😋 to. always a "de-lite" our 1st visit was early Dec 1995, & wow what a feeling ! we had been annually until the "china virus" hit & have not returmed not because we don`t want to but wife`s physical condition limits her activities ! nevertheless, great memories ! if you think the decorations WOW now was evening grander until early to mid 2,000 teens, when slight reductions were forthcoming !
