The turmeric milk is called “Haldi ka dudh” in India. Its used when you catch cold or got any wounds because of its healing properties💜💜

Really, that's interesting, thank you. My family are Scottish, and they have Hot Toddies, which is whiskey topped with hot water and either lemon or sugar. They happily served it in my favourite bar at Uni and it got me through some pretty unpleasant winters. Haldi ka dudh sounds healthier though :-D

Yes! My mom taught my twin sister and I this from a somewhat young age. So warm and soothing, it really does help you fall asleep. She always adds ground ginger as well. I lik to use Almond Milk with the turmeric and ground (or fresh) ginger. Both spices pair so well together, have great antioxidant qualities and all the other health benefits, and both work for sleeping too. So delicious with some cinnamon for added benefits and more flavor.

@@vixxcelacea2778 They're pretty healthy, but the coconut milk definitely doesn't make them low-calorie. Coconut milk isn't very healthy because of the saturated fat, but with everything else she puts in the recipes (lots of antioxidants, fibre, nothing processed), it's still pretty wholesome if you don't consume a ton of these daily

@@mahithakatha I think I used coconut milk as she recommended and almond milk as the plant milk, but I think it would taste fine with cow's milk if you like it--the coconut milk adds creaminess and sweetness so the texture might be altered a bit but I can't imagine it being bad so long as you watch the milk to make sure it doesn't burn :-)

I love the „cinematography“ (how nice the pics look🤗) but I can’t have spices like clover, cinnamon, turmeric, chilli and ginger and so on because it causes migraines 😪. My go-to-drink is homemade vegan „Ovaltine“ which I make with roasted malt and plantmilk. Happy weekend!

tried the Caramel peanut butter latte yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! I'd never tried Medjool dates before this, and i'll definitely incorporate it as a natural sweetener in my future cooking. For this recipe, 4 Medjool dates is a little too sweet for me though, i'd recommend 2-3 dates for those who are avoiding sugar. But thanks for the amazing recipe and will definitely give others a try :)

I made the Peanut Butter Caramel Latte with my sister and it turned out sooooo good!! We ended up adding like 5 dates...and I even added a scoop of honey in my cup after we poured it because I like sweet stuff and that was just so amazing!! I definitely give this recipe 5 stars. I’ve just done the last one, peanut butter latte (I used almond butter) and it’s delicious. It’s very similar to a smothie I do in the morning but I have never thought of warming it up! Thanks for the inspiration :) My next one to try is your hot chocolate!

Yes i always prefer using freshly powdered cinnamon instead so that there isn't any waste

Depending on how long it's infused for I can sometimes get at least 2-3 uses out of one stick, dried each time. The first is always the strongest, just be mindful it will pick up flavours. Then it goes to compost to feed the worms. Like some others said you could also use a half or ground.
