Yeaaah I am one of those weirdos who are comforted by creepy and scared stories. I haven't read any of these myself but amari and the night brothers and small spaces are both ones I want to get to someday!! Sugar and spite sounds really cute too. The jumbies was a cosy creepy middle grade horror I enjoyed this autumn season!

oommggg yessss, i absolutely love middle grade fantasies. they're so perfect for the fall cozy season. i finished 'amari and the great game' last month and it gave me some wiiiiiild book hangover LOL i need mooooore!! i picked up 'zachary ying and the dragon emperor' by xiran jay zhao and 'a taste of magic' by j. elle not too long ago. OOOH if you also want a cute, fantastical middle grade graphic novel, wingbearer by marjorie liu is GORGEOUS! 😚 also i'm living for this version of iu's song 💖💖
