It's been unseasonably cold the last 2 weeks on Vancouver Island. 16-20⁰c and rainy when it's usually 25-30⁰c and dry as a bone. Not complaining though, there's a bajillion wildfires and it's helping! I've just started making cement and hydrostone candle vessels, to start testing candles, so your video is right on time! ❤

I have seen people use a pen tube to hold the wick and use it to push the wick to the bottom of your jar. Might be worth a try.

Handmade Emulsified Body Butter really does feel so much better and absorbs so much quicker than those made by big corps in machine. Fresh figs are so much nicer and different tasting than the dry figs. Winter ends here in Tasmania today and Im so looking forward to some warmth. My daughter is a Graphic designer and her favourite style is minimalism. Your candles are gorgeous

Mine used to come off too. So, what I started doing was cleaning bottom of jar with alcohol it adhere really really well. Literally, impossible to come off.

Good question! Zinc oxide is the active ingredient in a lot of products meant to smooth and form a light barrier on the skin. It has some medicinal properties, which I can’t claim my products can do, but it’s certainly an ingredient worth experimenting with ☺️

This light is not good. It makes everything appear in fog or smoke. Have to strain eyes to try to see details. Makes me think of trying to see through cataracts.

I love love Autumn 🍂 this year so special for me. Autumn has a magical element too. Yes, my Autumn launch was created and done in Summer. Its now working on Christmas launch now 😊Candle making is a wonderful gift that I didn't think I would be doing but I am returning back to it. Don't hire a professional graphic designer. Learn to do it yourself first and get very clear on the concept. Introduce yourself to Canva or Kittle properly which is awesome is Kettle Canva's competition and you don't need to be a professional either and get experimental with it and yes get curious absolutely😊 I'm currently teaching my daughter brand identity psychology. I like to try things out before outsourcing my vision to professionals. Unless you have tried absolutely everything your brand message is your responsibility. Take time out and just think what your brand story is as I'm sure you have a powerful one and think why your customers purchase from you and what story are they buying? 😊And why have they followed you this far as its a story through your advertising and marketing which carries a strong message and story they have bought into from day one which was very compelling.
