One of the reasons that I like using a lot of the same decorations is so that my kids will have memories of them as they grow. ❤

I don’t have a beautiful pumpkin Dutch oven like yours so I put my simmering pot in my tiny crock pot. I usually add cranberries, not for the scent, just for the contrasting color and texture. Thanks.

awwww thank you so much friend!! You should definitely try the white pumpkins. They only take 65 days so they grow really fast. The vines also dont "run" so they are basically like little bushes... which means more room for other pumpkins too lol

Thank you so much. Yes definitely try them, especially if you have an apple or an orange going bad soon. I actually just hot glue the dried flowers directly into the top of the pumpkins. I had some “volunteer” pumpkins come up in our garden this spring. I put them in three hills and was amazed that when they all came in they were little minis, orange, cream and white! The ones I planted last year were the big, orange ones. Go figure.

I love to use oranges, lemons, cinnamon sticks, cloves, fresh cranberries, and sprigs of rosemary in mine. It makes my whole house smell amazing. I actually pack it in jars and give it as gifts (to be used pretty much right away - otherwise the cranberries start to break down). Everyone asks if they’re getting one every year 😊.

Big fan of simmer pots. For fall, I do similar, but usually include nutmeg. For Christmas I include evergreen stems (or even rosemary) and cranberries.
