BESTIE! from someone who went to culinary school and was yelled at for oil stains on uniforms: baking soda, dish soap, and hydrogen peroxide. mix it to make a paste and scrub into the stain, leave it for at least 15-20 minutes then wash like normal. YES it works for old oil stains too! its a damn miracle

I have been that exact person standing in front of the fairy garden stuff in the craft store. I made my stepdad take my daughter there so he would pay and I could restrain myself 😂 we got a little outdoor setting, a wheelbarrow and some mushrooms, to go with the fairy figurines we already had, plus the tiny mailbox my stepdad made because he couldn't find one that would actually fit letters in it (which he writes to my kids "from the fairies" who are called Tiddly and Wink, it's adorable)

ok so I would put the Sothing heater in my BEDROOM becaaauuuse... our apartment has electric baseboard heaters, and while the are ok to use in my office, the ones in our bedroom don't work right!!! So not only does it get SUPER cold in the bedroom (its like 8 degrees F real feel outside as I type this) but it also gets SUPER DRY. Like I wake up with a nosebleed sometimes its so dry!!! Why would I want to run a heater AND a humidifier separately when I could run them together with the Sothing?!? Not to mention the bedroom mood lighting from that thing is cuuuuute

I’m moving to the middle of nowhere to follow my dreams of being a wildlife biologist and educator… which means living in a cabin with no running water or heat/ac in the Midwest. Hello! I loved the chaos of you and Maya shopping. Your pet stroller commentary was pretty spot on, but there are two other ways I have seen them used. 1. Some people use them to socialize puppies before they get all of their shots. This is particularly useful for people who have a service dog in training. 2. Some ridiculous people such as myself, use them with rabbits. I take my rabbits to work with me (teacher) and I use a stroller to wheel them around the school. Beyond that, they are great for elderly dogs.

Reason 1: I live in NYC in an older building and the heat in the living room is terrible so we have a small space heater mostly for our cat and dogs so they don’t get too cold. Today it’s 24 degrees❄️Reason 2: it would just elevate the cozy vibe of living room. It’s our main hang out area so we have thrown blankets and pillows so it would definitely make it cozy here during these cold winter days.

pro tip! Use Mod podge on your diamond paints when you are done and it will dry clear and they will last forever! I learned the hard way that eventually the little gems will fall off if not sealed in. Plus, it makes it denser so its easier to hang or frame.

We don’t have central heating or cooling in our house (we live in SoCal so it’s only “cold” a few months of the year) so I just have a tiny one I’ve been using, mostly in our baby’s room when it’s too cold. That heater looks so fun! I'd have it with me in the living room. Partner's body temp runs very hot always, meaning the window are always open rain, SNOW, or shine. If you use dish soap on your oil stain it takes it out as long as it doesn’t see the dryer first, after you put the dish soap on your stain and scrub it out lightly rinse it out, it’s ok if there is a bit of soap on it wash it then air dry. When it’s dry check to see if your stain is gone, it usually takes one treatment, but just to be sure let it air dry make sure the state is gone if not, treat again with dish soap the same way you did the first time it should clear it up on the second time for sure. Then you can wash and dry normally. Anytime that I’ve treated it a second time the oil stain was always gone.

I'd put the heater in my study nook. I'm still working on decorating it, but it's very cozy so far! Except our windows in our apartment are badly insulated so whenever there's a cold front, we get a literal breeze in the bedroom and ice inside the window by my nook lmao😷. I think it’s a great idea to have a dedicated area for messier crafts. I have a room I use as my art studio (watercolor and gouache) but I keep my pottery wheel and pottery supplies in a corner in the laundry room because it gets everywhere!
