I would use both of the pinks in the t-shirt. I would do the dark color, then a pink, then the dark, then another pink. That way you have enough yarn and don't have to choose. 😊

Did I see furry little Pussywillow buds in the beginning footage? That speaks spring to my heart! I love watching your podcast while knitting. I've got 2 WIPS going, Birds of a Feather and the Weekender pullover, both patterns by Andrea Mowry and my two projects coordinate together. Now that spring is teasing us Michiganders, I want to pull my Laceback Tee out of hibernation and get it finished for summer wearing. Yes!! My daughter and I went for a walk last week and spotted the pussywillow and was all excited. Spring is finally here in the Maritimes! Ohh I can't wait to see your shawl and sweater together! Love your knits, they are all lovely. One of the reasons I like making my own garments is because I take a pattern I like and use it as a guide, I , like you, adjust to suit my needs, that’s the joy of making your own clothing. I love both options for your Dingley Dell, but I think the one with the less quantity would be better because it brightens the grey and looks more like spring to me. I think it would look great as a pinstripe between larger grey stripes. Good luck! I can’t wait to see what you end up doing.

With the understanding that the colors don’t come through exactly correct online, my vote would be for a darker color, the one that you have the full skein of. I think that color combination with the gray is just gorgeous! The other color that you have used a little bit of looks a little more peachy, but again, it maybe how it’s coming through the camera. Either way, it will be a really beautiful summer top!

Hi Sophie. Love the sock patterns and can't wait for Ms. Maezel (sp?) to come back on Prime. Check it out, you will like it. I like the second color option for your new striped tee. It seems to be more in the same tone as the gray. Either way it will be stunning. I think narrow pink stripes will look just fine. The chicken stew looks so yummy and my kind of cooking. Merci pour ce beau podcast! Tes tricots sont magnifiques! J’étais tellement contente de voir ta version du fricot! Mon père nous en faisait toujours quand j’étais petite fille. Lui ajoutait les dumplings et je fais mon fricot comme le sien. J’ai appris dernièrement de mon frère aîné, que le fricot qu’on a mangé pendant toute notre enfance était pas l’authentique fricot. Mon vlimeux de papa n’ajoutait ni la sarriette, ni les carottes! Simplement poulet oignons patates et dumplings. Il était très capricieux 😅 je fais pas du fricot très souvent, mais c’est certain que la prochaine fois que j’en fais, je vais suivre ta recette… en ajoutant les dumplings🙈 parce que j’adore ❤

Both of the pinks look great with the grey. Sometimes I make a decision and then check to see if I feel a little disappointed. Then I can easily change to the other choice. For your M1, if you are knitting into the front and you get a hole, you should be knitting into the back loop.Happy Easter

For the Dingley Dell, I have had this pattern in my library for years so you are inspiring me to get it knitted. Maybe you could stripe the front only and keep the back all in the graphite which should allow you the proper stipe widths for the first contract color? Beautiful projects. I watch Knit Sip Happy and have bought 3 or 4 of Nancy’s patterns. I will buy the Tits Up love it! FYI: conch is pronounced conk. We went to Grand Cayman and my husband ordered a conch burger ( he was corrected in his Kansas pronunciation). It was awful. A big slimy snail fried and served on a bun.

In my mind pink and grey go well together. I would choose the Gingersnapthat yarn to go with your grey. Also, I took a look at the first few projects,, and there was one where the knitter knit only 2 or 3 stripes of the lighter colour between the wider stripes of the darker colour. Lots of options.

Hard to tell real colours of those pinks. I like the lighter colour pink for th v neck tee. Just make the pink stripes thinner than the blues and call it the " Sophie"😂 you are so good with colour Sophie so dont sweat it. Whatever you choose will be beautiful 😊🥰 Sharon.

Hi Sophie, love your podcast! Right now I am making Isabell Kramer’s pattern for her Yume short sleeved tee in Berroco Remix Light, a recycled cotton, acrylic, silk & linen mix in the color Pool. Isabell uses M1L in her patterns and like you I always find that leaves a hole so I do the same increase modification that you use instead. When I finish this I want to make Isabell Kramer’s Edie tee in QueenslandCollection, an Australian yarn, Dungarees Rainbow Tweed in Lapis. This yarn is made from recycled blue jeans. So I guess it will be a recycled yarn Isabell Kramer summer fun knitting pass time for me 😊. Cheers from Niagara Falls, Ontario

I love your Lento - the colour is amazing. I checked out the comments on it and saw that there was an issue with the raglan increases. Since you did not mention it I assume it has been resolved. It is definitely on my list. I made the Dingley Dell last summer and it might be my favourite garment! Also made the Salty Air tee and wear that a lot too. hi Diane! I looked into the Lento comments and I see what you mean! I have to admit, I did make a mistake in the raglan increases when starting out my Lento. But I think it was my fault, I had skipped some instructions. So I think the pattern is ok. I know there are tons of people who have made it as well. But it's good you know this before starting . Hi Sophie! Thanks for a lovely episode. I actually like your second pink option (the full skein) better, but both would look nice! I prefer the lighter color for your new cast on, but would want the stripes to have the same amount of rows. So I would use 3 colors. F.e. if the stripes are 20 rows each, I would knit 3 darker color, 14 lighter color, 3 darker color as 1 stripe, and then 20 rows of the blue. That way you'll have enough of the lighter color. Whatever you'll decide, have fun knitting your new garment!

This was so enjoyable!your sweaters and socks are sooooo nice! For the Dingley Dell, take a look at the projects that have been made. There are lots of variations. I really like the paler pink and it would work as narrower stripes 😊. I’m also making the Salty Air tee. Just waiting for the yarn to arrive and I’ll be joining your KAL!

Such a lovely podcast! I just found you. I love the patterns, yarns, and colors you choose. Both the peach and pink look good. I noticed that the peach color is very similar to the Lento color and the colorwork sweater you showed. The pink is brighter and maybe you will have enough to do the same stripes or very close to the pattern. Go with the one that speaks to you most. Either one is beautiful.

But on my needles, I have the new MKAL from Mrie-Elyse Dugal with the collaboration with Tippy Tree yarns and it is a delight to knit. Next up, since I am almost done, will be a sweater (my first one and I am terrified). I think, if you're like me, that I would use the yarns that you have the most for your new tea cast-on. love your podcast and regarding your stripped tee. I would use the darker pink do the grey stripes wider than the pink with the pinks getting thinner as you go down till you run out of pink. sleeves in grey

Love your podcast. I would use both contrast colours and alternate with the grey. You mentioned you love mohair. Have you knit a “rock it tee” by Tanis fibre Arts? I’m currently making one and love it! Stripes and mohair in a summer tee! My first knit tee.

How about taking both pinks alternating them with the grey: I segment grey , one segment darker pink, hen grey and then the lighter pink and so on Just an idea. I myself am in stockinet city on the cumulus tee by petite knit. Really liked your podcast
