Cozy Neutral Ornaments with a French Country Flair

While I love the traditional Red and Green at Christmas, I adore simple, neutral decor with a French Country Flair. These soft colors are perfect in a glowy Winter Wonderland themed Christmas!
Our first ornament features a warm and cozy sweater in a sweet little embroidery hoop, accented with buffalo check ribbon, rusty bells, and crystallized greenery!
Our next ornaments are wood rounds stamped with lovely fonts, and adorned with either bird or angel wing resin pieces, tied with gorgeous ivory chiffon ribbon!
Finally, beautiful resin frames are Mod Podged with stamped images and finished with clear and dark wax to bring out all those gorgeous details!

Hi Becky! I'm amazed to see the ink of your stamps didn't smear with the Mod Podge and the wax. I wasn't sure the paper was going to resist or absorb the ink properly. Exquisite ornaments all of them. My favorites are the embroidery hoop ones just because I love to decorate with fabrics more than any other material.

Becky it seems to me that resin is better then or easier then clay would you agree? Also that casting resin seems pretty easy as well. ❤❤

Hi Maxine! I really enjoy using the Amazing Casting resin because it sets up so quickly and is ready for paint in minutes. I still use my clay if I’m applying to curved surfaces. I’ve also used hot glue in my moulds too!
