Cozy Palworld Natural Aesthetic Base Tour

My first base in palworld! I tried to make it cozy and natural looking while still adding a lot of detail to it. I'm on xbox so the video has a lot of obvious cuts and changes in the time of day.

And before anyone asks, I have both raids and decay turned off, and my pals have no problems with navigating it or getting stuck on things :) the only pathing issues are the normal ones that happen even in my non-decorated base with plenty of space around everything

I just realize from this comment that you can turn off raid 😢. When i was around lvl 30 something, I got a bunch of lvl 40 bushi raid my camp and destroyed the whole house I built and was so proud of xD lol... Awesome build btw. Seem like a place to go on a date haha

When you modify things like decay and raids, does that disable achievements?

​@rapiakbar13 I don't own all of those, but the ones I do seem to work fine along with other big ones! The only problems I've noticed I have the same problem with on my non decorated base that just has everything spaced apart, which is flying pals like to go on roofs lol

I’ve seen multiple cozy build videos use this spot a lot except they only do a house interior. But you gave us a tour to multiple houses and I love how each areas are very detailed and unique at the same time. Very well-executed, a cozy base indeed!

@@Lazurikittie Okay I think I get what you are saying so I attached a slanted roof from the second floor and then a flat roof under it. so I could build without foundations. Idk if it makes sense. Just saying you are very smart for figuring that out. I get your pain with making this because trying to replicate it is making me stressed lol but its so cute I need to finish

Thank you, glad you liked it! :) if I remember correctly I did a mixture of flat roofing and foundation, if you start with the low foundation you should be able to put a slightly higher foundation at an angle above it. It only works if it's angled a little though!

Building a nice house: Expectation: Everyone happy, live in harmony and utopia. Reality: The Joumontide spend most of it time on the roof to watering the crops and sleep, The flying pal either dig into the ground or roof, or floor. Dinosaur size pals spend most time standing retarding if it can react it workbench and stare at it instead. Or in the best scenario they finish the job with The Force. Most of the time you spend in the base are injecting medicine, and removing them from stick their head into the wall. And every time you logged out of the game, all the pal was so happy they party hard because slavery time is over, and everyone got stuck on the top of the roof because of drunk and desperates when you get back into the game.

What space did you use to build this its been driving me crazy 😅 everything is slanted or rocky so my foundation is off and the bottom looks super off and also where did you get a lot of your furniture? I swear we aren't playing the same game

It's just the beginning area right before mammorest and under the plateau of beginnings! There definitely is a lot of slanted parts basically no matter where you build, I put foundation super low in the ground to help make things I place straighter or angle it in the opposite direction of the slant to make it appear to be straight! As for the furniture it's all just the basic furniture you unlock, I think it's mostly the antique set? I mostly use the plants, then the antique storage sets, boxes and barrels, and various chairs with lots of torches

Iirc I placed the lower foundation first at a slight angle then put the higher foundation at a straight angle above it and used 2 wooden chests and a bench to make the appearance of stairs :)

I lined up a TON of antique braided baskets! You just kind of have to find the right position and if you do you can carefully move just your character model and they'll kinda "snap" into place directly in front of the previous one you placed

It is functional! Flying pals like to go on roofs, but they do that no matter what the layout is lol other than that they navigate it just fine, they usually just go over things if they need to
