If you could fix/improve one thing in Palworld what would it be? Note: I've seen a few people comment about IVs asking why I didn't cover them here and that's very fair. Honestly, with the state the game is currently in there is so little incentive to hunt for perfect IVs that I felt it was an unnecessary addition. Passive skills make a much more significant difference to overall gameplay and without PVP being fully implemented, perfect IVs are probably overkill to hunt for in addition to perfect passives. I may create an additional short video on IVs at a later date if it becomes more relevant but I'd say most players don't need to add another layer of stress to their checklist for what constitutes a perfect pal in their eyes. Let me know your thoughts, happy to listen! Kimpton's Palworld Breeding Guide is an absolute godsend for plotting out inter-species breeding paths thanks to their experimental path calculator. They've got me going 2-3 couples deep to move traits over to different species in ways that I never would've been able to figure out on my own. Fair warning, though: Pal names are listed alphabetically instead of being sorted by Pal number.

Just fyi, it's been proven that mathematically you are far better off farming berries, baking them, and selling them to then buy the milk and eggs. The only thing you should have in a ranch are beegardes for the honey and that is it. The math was done with max rank ranch pals vs a berry farm.
@TheFearsomeRat8 ай бұрын
I keep two Chikipi at a Quartz/Wood base with two ranches (4 Caprity, 2 Lamballs & 2 Chikipi) but not staffed by any Beegarde my Iron/Coal base is staffed mainly by 5 Beegarde though I keep them off the ranch there unless I need the honey (ranches can only hold 4 Pals anyways though you never need more then two of a kind), and keep two Mozarina there, and my main base has a ranch with one Flambelle and two Dumud has another two Beegarde (because honestly they are perfect generic worker pals they do all types of crafting, they plant and harvest, they forest, they transport and they can obviously be ranched for Honey and it's not hard to get Pals that fill in the gaps for what they can't do). Also Caprity can allow you to make a base that doesn't need berry crops, sure it may not be super efficient but I spend a ton on ammo as most of my gunpowder comes from Tocotoco killing, and it's nice to be able to skip paying for the ingredients.

Amazing! Great guide! I like to place my Breeding Farms in clusters of 3. Rotating the 2nd one 90 degrees and the 3rd one 180 degrees, so that they form a triangle and the cake deposit boxes are as close to each other as possible. I like to use wooden floors above where the eggs are laid, and above my storage chests, so I can quickly identify where I need to aim my grapple gun when overweight 🤣 You can align your palbox on a 2x2 foundation square, so that you can surround the 2x2 with triangle walls. This pals can not cross triangle walls, but you can walk through the gaps freely. I find it convenient to setup the cage when summoning pals you want to carry to the Breeding Farms, so they are trapped and can't run from you after you summon them.

I heard that stacking wheat/berry plantations on top of each other is possible, if you make use of some benches. That could help you save on space quite a bit when you have t oplan out the production for those. 1 pile of 5 wheat, 1 pile of 5 berry plantation, and they only take up the place for 1-1 of each, horizontally, while pals can reach all 5 on top of each other. I'd also recommend adding a Wumpo to bases that produce a ton of materials, as they're really nice material delivery experts. Alternatively Helzephyrs, as they work through the nights too.

Pro tip: a pals Cooling level does in fact affect how well a refrigerator or cooler box works, I believe it's 100 minutes every level, so a Frostalion (level 4) have 400min decay timer on food, while a Chillet (level 1) has a 100 minute timer :)

Great video! My only complaint is at 19:40-20:02. I would say "breeding up" the traits from common Pals is WAY more efficient(especially if you're not skipping incubation time). Common eggs incubate FAST and the Pals themselves spawn in higher quantities, thus it's easier to hunt for desired traits in the first place. Trying to pray to RNG-esus AND dealing with Rare+ eggs is a big time waster. This is just my anecdote but getting a "perfect" Chikipi or Lamball or Pengullet or Lifmunk and just breeding up with an "empty" Pal with no traits(so 4+0) has worked so incredibly well so consistently that it's been hard to relate to others struggling with breeding their perfect Pals
@unclemumble11 ай бұрын
This is actually a really good point, thank you for this! It's definitely easier to farm traits from pals with faster hatching eggs then transfer them into your desired end pal assuming the steps to get there are reasonably short. For honest playthroughs this is a solid consideration to take into account. Also as they may be passable to more possible end target pals

In the past few days I’ve been breeding the perfect Shadowbeak (Active Skill - Dark Whisp) (Passive Skills - Legend, Lord of Underworld, Ferocious, Musclehead) it’s take over 300+ eggs but I finally manage to get the perfect roll. Great guide, only part I would add about the breeding is that getting your perfect 4 trait pal is much better done with 2 and 2 rather than 3 and 1. Other guides say this, I think the reddit post referenced in the video implied this, and from my own experience it seems better. If a 3 and 1 is all you got then sure you can go for that. I would also stress the point that I think was made, that you really just want one of each trait you want and only those traits. Part of why the 4 and 0 is ideal. So no 3 and 3 with one of the same trait on each parent to be. I suppose depending on your breeding choice, it might be better to try and get your 4 on a lower tier pal that has speedier eggs, then just use blanks from there. Should be more versatile that way too, but might take more steps.

One thing I'd like to touch on is you say going extra steps for pal breeding tends to be less necessary for reaching ideal pals, and that one step is usually all you need. But extra step pals are cery important to get to perfect ones time efficiently. The idea being it's quicker to pass down ideal traits than mutate one breeding out 2/4 traits. This means while it's more a mental headache, trading down all 4 stats into one focal point of your desired pal. E.g. i wanted to get a fast faeris. So i bread down a good beakon into a vanwyrm that had swift into breeding with anubis to get to faeris much faster than getting a 2/4 feries and random breeding for other trait mutations. It just hurts your head but it IS useful. ESPECIALLY FOR LUCKY BREEDING!! Also, breeding a 2 trait pal with the OTHER 2 desired trait pal result in a perfect more often than breeding a perfect with a perfect. It seems like if both pals roll to send down the same trait, the 2nd roll is a guaranteed mutation instead, based on data from a guy who bred hundreds of pals with variations (sorry I'm mobile if people care I'll edit it with his name when i look it back up). This makes keeping 2trait bases important if future breedinf (e.g. for more anubis workhorses) is ever expected, OR to use as bases for future pals (like when you get access to legend or emperor traits lategame) Sorry for rant, been spam watching breeding vids and docs and yours, btw, was my favorite for base optimization, so ty and keep up the great vids ❤

what I did the moment I placed my first base in a mining spot, was to go to the near Black Market Merchant and kill it (Hanging Trap + Bonfire + a couple of punches) to receive between 10k-15k gold and continue doing so until I got a Relaxaurus, Petalia, And Lunaris (basically an early Anubis to help building things faster) and I also had a 3 Vixy farm for "unlimited" pal spheres to catch these ones : 1. Beegarde (farming Honey to produce cake) 2. Celarey (with Relaxaurus we can get Anubis early on) 3. Mossanda (with the Petalia we can get Lyleen for "best" healing pal but also has good jobs) and 4. Quivern (To make a Jormuntide for the 4 watering and also a good water attribute pal) and for the last pal that I wanted to get was Jormuntide Ignis and this one took me a while bc you can either be lucky OR NOT lol you can go to the beach of everlasting summer to try and find a Huge Dragon Egg and I never found one lol so I decided to go for breeding with Blazehowl and Jormuntide but if you want to do that early on like I did you won't be able to catch Blazehowl so just breed him with Celaray and Surfent (how can 2 water pals make a fire pal idk don't ask me), surfent you can also get it with the black merchant or Celaray + Lyleen. one last touch if you make an early Mining Base go get yourself 2 Reptyro at the Fisherman's Point near the Beach of Everlasting Summer with the pal merchant (just exit game and go back in until you get 2 of them) with the green merchant you can buy Makeshift Handgun + coarse ammo and with the red merchant you can buy Mega Spheres the Handgun and Mega Spheres can be useful for Mossanda and Quivern :3

I would recommend breeding cinnamoths with perfect stats, since they have a lot of combinations for different pals - with direhowl they give petallia (which you can further breed into lyleen), with teafant into verdash, with vanwyrm or bushi into anubis, with bristla or fuack into mozzarina, with tombat or chillet into bushi, with nitewing or sweepa into sibelyx, with cattiva into fenglope, with celeray into univolt, with univolt into Incineram, with cryolinx into Jormuntide, with galeclaw into Foxcicle, with relaxaurus into ragnahawk, ... A few more tips: you want 3 different stat combos for anubis anyways, 1 for battle, 1 for crafting -> workspeed and 1 for mining, which isn't affected by workspeed, so you can use anubis to continue breeding different combos, for example: - anubis with cremis gives felbat, a strong tank type pal which lets you heal when doing damage - anubis with melpaca into rayhound, then rayhound with mossanda (you already need a mossanda for lyleen) into grizzbolt, then grizzbolt with relaxaurus into orserk

I dont think one with mining makes sense. What would you add aside from mining foreman? What helps more is one swift one, which is useful for collecting things. Ultimately tho, I'd just recommend making the worker build have Artisan, lucky, serious(or workaholic), swift.
@pega755011 ай бұрын
@@Lebronscome the ones with mining would use stats that improve sanity and hunger loss, instead of improving the workspeed. Artisan, work slave and serious are all useless stats for mining ore (same as for the pals in the ranch) -> mining at the stonepit is influenced by workspeed, but mining ores is not so I'd put diet lover, dainty eater, workaholic and swift on the anubis I want to mine with. ^^

I'm new to this game, but if all my info is correct, you can now breed legendary flame emperor Jormuntide Ignis. Start by breeding Jetragon with Suzaku to get legend suzaku, then breed Suzaku with Jormuntide to get legend Suzaku aqua, then breed that with Blazamut to get legendary flame emperor blazamut. Now breed this Blazamut with Foxsparks to get a legendary flame emperor blazehowl, then breed that with Jormuntide to get legendary flame emperor Jormuntide Ignis. From what i can see around breeding mechanics this will go easiest getting to Blazehowl with just flame emporor and Legend, and Jormuntide with just Serenity and Musclehead, that way you breed to eliminate unwanted traits by only two trait breeders, which have a decebt chance to hatch. Edit; also, you can use campfires to heat incubators without kindling pals.

21:00 As an alternative to all this I first find Pals that have the traits I want in viable breeding combinations (male/female and actually able to breed at all). Then I get them with the combo I want. Then I pass this down through 1-3 generations of Pals until it gets to the Pal I want, breed a Male and Female, and then have those two Breed until they create the perfect one (supplemented with the parents I was already using). It requires a lot less eggs I get stuff done in less than 20 usually. From what I've gathered from mine and others' experience, breeding also generally favors stronger traits so that would be why work slave doesn't show up as often. I know, it makes it a bitch, that eluded my Anubis as well. I'll restate it here since I said it in a reply, but breeding also generally favors higher IVs, so once you get two perfect or near perfect Pals for traits, you can then breed down generations. Breed a male and female that have, combined together, the 4 traits you have, and just keep doing that over and over and eventually you will have really high IVs if not perfect.

one extra step is to level all the perfect-passive pals a few times and check their IVs, keeping any with high IVs for later breeding

Imma be honest, 1 bee, 2 chickens, 2 cows, 2 wheats with 1 crusher, 2 berries. And 2 stoves provide plenty of cakes.

I arrived at a pretty similar looking base design, but I have 2 breeding farms on floor 3 with a pal condenser
@Slepepe11 ай бұрын
15:40 I hatch my pals upstairs just fine. your breeding farm here is outside the circle, which means the pals will NOT produce eggs when nobody is at the base, and they will teleport to the palbox when you arrive

I made my breeding base, i got around 150 cakes in like an hour the only pal you need for ranch is beegarde. I used to use Caprity but then i remembered that berry plantations exist. I also just got an anubis with artisan, work slave, serious and lucky. I used the aggressive pig ( I forgot its name). It has artisan, lucky, serious and then i got a sakuza aqua with work slave. I got really lucky. Anyway, have a good day.

what did you use im guessing Rushoar for?
@IDontNeedAName..10 ай бұрын
@@hankanatorpoo8777 It is rushoar. I just kinda looked up breeding combinations for anubis is kinda easy to do. I'm thinking of trying to get either a fast jetragon or just trying to get a perfect gorirat, for attack, not sure what I should do.

After catching all of the legendaries, I looked up a guide for the breeding. Next, I thought about how I've probably put enough time into the game and don't need to get this deep until a big update or something. Now I am following the steps in my own game because I forgot gaming sucks now except for these indie type games.

12:11 Jormuntide are quite high level. BUT, here's a tip. You can "get" one pretty early in the game. From fresh: - Get to 7, and get a Rushoar saddle and some Celeray Gloves(and the corresponding pals). Then find the nearest Black Marketeer and string him up with a Hanging trap by placing it under just one of his feet. Then place a fire place under him. While he burns make sure to hit him at least once. He'll drop 10-15k gold for you. - After collecting your mounts and gold make your way towards Mt Obsidian through the southern end. Use your mounts and Celeglider to make it to the wall. There's a ledge that sit just under the water where you can regen your stamina. Then proceed to make it the rest of the way towards land remembering to use both mount and glider to split the stam usage. - Rush your way to the Ancient Civilization Ruins fast-travel point and activate it. Now port out and wait till night time or time this part so you are here when night falls. Once it's night, rush along the beach towards the south till you hit a town staying near the water to avoid as many pals as possible. You'll hit a town and fast travel point called Fisherman's Point - Buy heat resistant pelt armor and undershirts for 3k, 1k, and 1k. Once Achieving heat resistance: - Go around looking for eggs. Use a map website or overlay program like blitz to find the spawn point for eggs. Mount Obsidian has two types of eggs, scorching and dragon. Dragon eggs will be your Jormuntide Ignis. Enjoy your early baker/smither! Yes eggs are rng you might spend an hour there before finding one but they ARE there. I personally bring home 5-6 every run when I go. Happy hunting!

22:55 I'm not sure if its a bug, but another video I watched saw that the actual chance seen in game by breeding pals with two of the desired traits each was significantly more likely to hatch a "perfect" pal. In the future, if it's a bug and it's patched, the chart shown at 22:55 might be more accurate than that guys video. He had a sample size of like 300 if I remember correctly, so its not very likely his results are inaccurate. I forget the video so I can't link it, but it saves a lot of hatches so its not worth breeding pals with 3 of the desired traits.

Think you should talk about stat IV, the title of the video contains "perfect pals". Stat IV is very important when it comes to the perfect rolled pal.

Very helpful video, I hope you make more guides in the future, maybe some quick ones, those 3 are great but I'm sure took a lot of your time. I have a question, maybe with your experience you can help me, I have a coal base in the desert and I want to ask you if the base work(pals and all) if I'm gone in another base? How the chunk loader works? Because I feel like they do nothing, not 100% of the time but half of the time, they just go to work when I'm teleporting there. Another question about coal and ores in general, how can I facilitate the spawn rate, I good to mess with the days and nights time or doesn't work? Thanks again.
