8 feet wide , and you could make a bigger space for the same cost with wood frame and plywood . 8 feet wide , try dividing a room into 8 narrow and living in that . It's a not cosey ,it's cramped . Plus you need to insulate that metal wall ,so take off another 6 inches per side . Now you have 7 feet .

I am Australian. Thank you for donating to the bushfire relief fund. The impact of the fires has been devastating for Australia's regional communities. 3 brave firefighters tragically lost their lives fighting the fires and 3 brave civilians were also killed in similar circumstances. Half a billion animals have died, unable to flee the fires. Communities are rallying to rebuild homes and support businesses. The govt has been dropping food from planes to help prevent animals from starving. Its heart warming that people around the world are supporting us. Thanks again to everyone for your support. We really appreciate it. Edit: Tragically, 3 USA servicemen who travelled to Australia to fight the fires, have died when their Hercules water plane crashed. All 3 were fine men who risked their lives to help others. They will be honored in a special State funeral. Incredibly sad day.

@BaiAnNa2014 Twitter I know how KZbin works. Yes, I have donated and I am living off a very tiny disability check. How do i know what he has donated? He has donated nothing lol. He just said it depends on what he makes off this video. This video just went up. His exact words were he would give "some sort of donation." Telling people to boost his exposure in order for him to do something good is ridiculous. What he should have said from the start is something like "I plan on donating 20% of the check I get from this video to help Australia" then people would automatically want to watch and subscribe because he wouldn't be saying do this for me and I will do this for them. Huge difference on how it is presented. And it wouldn't have to be 20%, it could be 10% or 5%. But saying "some sort of donation" means he could make $3,000 off of this video and just send $50. He should say it as if it were a commitment. His agenda was to get more subscribers and views for himself, not for Australia. Sorry no one else read between the lines.

Agreed! Been searching for inspiration in container living and will be building something very similar! Can't wait! Perfect design just needs egress in the bedroom and more storage area which can easily be done by adding a 20ft container on one end which would provide wind shelter for the hot tub and it would extend the kitchen by 8 ft or divided to gain 4 additional feet in the bedroom , and add a pantry and laundry room off the kitchen. 20 ft containers are less expensive at $1500 +. Definitely doable! To much heat loss with a garage door but I would add dual pane bifolding doors and heated floors especially in snow country. Just love the design. The outdoor space makes it perfect when you have views of a lake and mountains! Will be using the containers for a large studio/gallery as well.

They are thinking about rebuilding with shipping container homes, so I clicked on this video for ideas to help them out only to find that by clicking I was actually helping because of your donations. Love love love the natural light it makes the space feel clean and open, not confined. For privacy in room I would spend on glass filled with gas to switch on frosting effect, I would not add blinds to anything else.

I thought the same thing. A rod with billowy curtains just about ⅔ the way up from the bottom would be really easy and still allow the top portion of windows open for light and keep the open space feeling.

I love this container home. The design is cool, the patio is huge and invites to stay outside for as long as you can. Inside... I love the kitchen. I say this almost every time, but it's true. Beautiful. The garage door is a great extra and with my love for huge windows... there is nothing more to say.🤗 My favorite part is maybe the swinging bed.
