Yes! I was just coming to comment something similar. It’s actually a thing too! People like us with ADHD have a harder time with habits because our brains are not wired for them. Everything that is a habit for neurotypicals usually has to be an active choice for us neurodivergents. (Which is so annoying and unfair tbh lol) I find the reward system helps me the most with trying to force myself to make the choice for healthy habits!

Love the chat about over-identification with our actions. One thing doing meditation consistently, for anxiety and chronic illness management, had finally taught me is we are always changing, we are never static. We literally aren't "this/that kind of person". All we do is make choices and take actions, and we can make different choices and do different actions at any time! Also, all we can do is put one foot in front of the other to get to where we are going, no matter how slow. On my worst days that's all that keeps me going, is the thought that moving forward is better than giving up. Thanks Kennedy, as always it's been a pleasure spending time with you! I think it'll be time for another daytime bath of my own soon lol

It was so nice to hear you talk about not being a habit-former. I'm the same way! It can be exhausting to never have elements of your lifestyle on auto pilot. At least, I find it exhausting. I have to find the motivation every. Single. Time.

I live alone in a 1 bed apartment w my dog, and it’s perfectly curated as Amanda’s hobby cave 😂 the following list are available activities: -planning/journaling/scrapbooking (my main hobby - like you have a PC desk setup, I have a desk setup with all my craft supplies beautifully organized lol) -cozy gaming on my switch (my newest hobby I picked up last year, that’s how I found you too!) -building lego sets/miniatures -reading a book -coloring -doing stuff with my crystals & tarot decks -there’s prob more I work 9-5 & have friends/make sure to keep a balanced social life SO I don’t have nearly as much time as I’d like for the above things but being at home in my cozy cute apt with my hobbies is my fav place to be 😇 and I would never get bored bahaha

I use the ohulu markers to draw on my embroidery fabrics and than embroider over it or sometimes I fill in the empty spaces. it looks really cool! and when you use the blender is kind of gives a watercolor effect!

I just finished the show, and it's wild that you will love it, they got renewed for season two, which I'm excited about. Love a good show that helps to just take my mind off everything for even a few hours. I'm not sure if others knew, but I didn't whatsoever until she brought it up. On TikTok, a mother was seen dancing while her child was with RSV in the hospital, I was shocked to learn it was Whitney and her son. 29:10 That is the cutest little toaster oven! I have one that I got from my mom back when she was a traveling nurse during the pandemic (I didn't know she had it and had bought a Ninja double air fryer for her for Christmas. She loved the air fryer way more so I took the toaster oven instead). But it is as big as a microwave. While I would lament not being able to do pizzas in a smaller version, I'm maybe considering getting something else so that I don't have to sacrifice so much counter space (there's not even space in my kitchen to store it away when not in use). All this is to say, where did you get your cute toaster oven? 😅
