Love love love these rants and talks over self care. Also so beyond happy to hear you talk about current events. I’ve unfortunately been disappointed by a lot of my favorite creators lately and it’s so hard to swallow. You always have the right takes. 💋💋

I’m cackling about Peela Piss Boy 😂 Also, I agree about Google being a hot mess lately. I always search my questions with “Reddit” at the end because I want to hear from people, not companies! Anyway, hope you feel better soon. Thanks for creating such a cozy/anti-capitalist corner of the world.

tried googling something I knew to be true the other day and felt crazyyyy seeing the links after links of misinformation google fed instead. I'm super grateful for the strength and determination of people who work around these systems and make their voices heard despite it all. thank you for taking time for this

student publications (like college) are fairly reputable news sources because they are affiliated with universities but don’t actually work under them! this is coming from a student journalist btw

100% with you on the media and capitalism rant. It was nice to hear the passion you have about this, and it’s totally understandable that you had to be slightly vague given the issues with certain platforms and their biases.

I just turned 50 this year and I agree with you completely on challenging sources. I have a MA in history and there are so many historical things that are taught in the public school system that is inaccurate. Current events are a hot mess and do not watch the news but look for the experiences that people that are bein affected by these events such as Gaza.

First time watching a Stardew Valley play through with you. This is lovely! Like playing a game with a good friend. You’re amazing on so many levels ❤

Hi! Idk if you've talked about it before but I recently played this really cozy switch game called Lil Gator. It's like the open world segments of Zelda but without any enemies and super chill

Appreciate you vaguely speaking on things, and I see you switching up your beverage 😉 I do come to your content for a break, so thanks for understanding and keeping it cozy too. The National Association for Media Literacy Education has several resources to help people assess the media we're digesting ❤

Rebecca Yarros has also posted some opinions on her Instagram that...fall in line with what you're saying about folks following the news and not educating themselves or being skeptical about what they're hearing. It also felt like she was turning current events into a way to talk about her own wealth and her books and not about the fact that current events are affecting real lives. It feels like she's at best showing ignorance and disrespect towards current events and the cultures and languages she features in her books. I wish more people took that into account when reading, considering reading, and talking about her work, so thank you for mentioning it!

I just heard about that too!! Like how do you write a book about the kind of revolution she’s writing about and just turn the lights off upstairs when it’s a reality? Wild

Ahhh I recently discovered your TikTok/youtube because I was trying to find cozy games and hobbies to take on this fall and winter but oh my I LOVE YOUR COMMENTARY. Thanks for shedding light on current events. We need more female streamers like you

The thing that always gets me is when I come across a news channel on cable, is that they'll about a current event for about 2 minutes and then they will move over to sports for 10.... like, excuse me, how are sports 'News' now?

Love watching these videos ❤ And totally agree with your rants. For news in these kinds of situations I find the Democracy Now podcast really good. They interview people directly affected and scholars who can give helpful context. And they just cover protests and things that mainstream media totally ignores.

I love the deep chats you have in these videos 😊 I was wondering if you would have a think about/ reflect on consumerism in a different one because I'd be interested to see your take! Given your anti-capitalism, I'm often surprised at the level/focus of consumerism in a lot of your videos, and though I enjoy watching them they make me a bit uncomfortable sometimes when I think about the level of worker exploitation and waste. But I know everyone is different and has a different perspective, so your thoughts on this would be really interesting 💕

I totally get the wanting to power through rather than delay things.. I'm going on a two week vacation soon and I'm working weekends and after hours so I don't hold anything back and part of me wanted to not go on vacation so I didn't have to go through this. And then I was like wow that's such a sad thought - capitalism is powerful Edit: Just got to the news section. I watch Philip Defranco on KZbin for my objective news source. It is sad we can't trust new orgs
