I so love this! My husband passed away (too soon - in his 50's) from being hospitalized with covid Christmas 2021. We always wanted to retire someplace just like this. Instead, I had a scene like this one engraved on our headstone. I picture him in Heaven living there and waiting for me. The scene I had engraved is looking towards the cabin so, when I saw this, my heart melted!. It's like I am sitting WITH him on the porch and not looking across the lake. It may seem silly to some, but I cannot begin to put into words how much he is missed and what this just did to help make him not seem quite so far away ~

It pleases me to know that someone out there is sitting in this exact room, listening to the crackling fire. We could be oceans apart, but we are together in this, strangers are out there, all sitting and cozying up in this room, no war, no screaming, just peace.

I've always found unexplainable peace in Christmas music. It makes me feel like everything will be alright. I can't explain it; I just know the feeling, and I know who's behind the feeling. Thank you, Lord Christ, for always being there for me. Let me not take one breath without you in my life. I owe it all to you, Abba Father. I gave you my life when I was a young man and you've been with me ever since. What a faithful God you are, even when I have not been faithful. Oh how I owe it all to you. I’m enjoying my first Christmas season as a subscriber. Two videos I would love to see you add: 1) a scene from my memory of laying in bed late at night in a friend’s mountain home with the sliding glass door open to the deck that looked out over a nice sized little mountain stream that flowed and gurgled all night. Slightly different than rain. I could hear an occasional frog and sometimes crickets and in the morning birds. I have never slept better. Another idea I have for you may not fit this channel but I’d love a playlist of upbeat encouraging music to clean or organize to. With an appropriate well organized scene to gaze on for inspiration.
