Babel is on my TBR for this season too! As someone who studied Linguistics at University, the language aspect greatly intrigues me!! So far I didn’t do any English subtitles over at the German channel cause… ain‘t nobody got time for that 😱😂 honestly, subtitles are the one thing that takes hoooouuurs to do! 🫣 Even starting to correct the automatically generated German subtitles took me ages, so I stopped midway through, haha.. 🤪 I think noone is ever ready for A Little Life, but that’s exactly the point with this book I guess. I‘ve been bingewatching a Swiss literature professor lately and the way he talked about it in one of his videos just made me deeply accept getting emotionally destroyed by this book 🧡📚😅 And Babel, I CAN‘T wait! 🤩 Let me know how you like Hogwarts Legacy!! 😍 I just love this game so much!

I'd love to join your other channel! Do you have subtitles in it? I am Spanish and I'm afraid the only language we have in common is English. I am learning French (B2) at the moment so I think it would work for me too, if you speak it. I don't think you're not fluent, every video here is well written and articulated and also when we've chatted on Cath's discord your English is neat and fluid. So yep, you're fluent enough!

Good morning! 🤗 I don’t have English subtitles on my second channel yet, but I‘ll think about adding some - since I‘m talking A LOT over there, it’s a lot of text to translate! 😅🫣 thank you so much for encouraging me, yes my written English is quite fluent, but funnily my spoken English is not nearly as good 😂 speaking just happens so much faster! Ok, so I had a look into the subtitle thing now and it turned out that KZbin even does the translation automatically!! 🥳 I just had to enable it and proof read it! 🙂 The video about "Speed Reading" should be available with English subs now... The other video still takes some time to proofread and correct, but I guess it will be available as well over the weekend. 🧡
