I just started a short story collection that I found in a charity shop, called Light Box by KJ Orr - I've only read one entry so far, but her writing is really good (and apparently the collection won the 2016 BBC National Short Story Award). Alternatively, if you like slightly unhinged and unusual stories, Salt Slow by Julia Armfield hooked me in earlier this year, but it really is...quite odd 😅 I only discovered your channel yesterday, but I love your style and am binging your videos now! Keep it up 💛

I am currently reading an ARC called Under the Amber Wave and it just so happens to be a Japanese book that goes along with one of their mythical beliefs. Its about a sea monster that will give you anything you wish for but it will take what it wants in return including your family. It ok, Its a great story but I feel it could have been written better.
